Cheap Parcel Delivery Thread Mk4

Hi,
I need a quote to send a package to Malta, only 500g, but needs to be trackable online to adhere to paypal conditions (its a potential ebay sale).
I can see couriers for Malta on the first page, but cant find anything suitable for smaller items that is trackable online?
The 2 items only cost £15 each so dont think a buyer will want to shell out twenty odd quid on a courier.
If it can't be done I will just advise the seller I cant post to Malta.
Thanks for any help,

Thank you, but I am a bit confused.
I understand about the certificate of posting which will give me royal mail compensation but I recently had problems with a parcel of nappies that I'd sold on ebay and sent by standard parcels.
The paypal payment came through fine so I posted the parcel to Ireland and got a cert of postage as usual.
Not long after paypal reversed the payment, I never found out why, but a few other sellers contaced me to say that they had there payments on hold too.
The buyer had bought loads of stuff over a week.
I never recieved any correspondence from the buyer so I presume it was a blatant scam. The other sellers had sent their items by an online trackable method so they kept their money but I didn't.
I thought about claiming compensation via Royal Mail, but the scammer is hardly going to fill in the paper work that will be needed for me to make a claim?
Sorry to waffle on... I hope that makes sense?
I only sell a few bits & bobs but i am nervous about sending anything now unless it is trackable online.
If there is anything I can do about the scammer in Ireland please let me know?

I have a customer who wants me to post an item that is impossible to weigh. Is there any courier out there who will quote on size alone? I do not think that this is possible but she is adamant that it is!
Many thanks in advance.0 -

You would need to speak to an independent courier.
Try www.shiply.com then if you have to put a weight just guess. Then you can explain in the notes box.0 -

If this is still within 6 months of posting you can make the claim yourself as long as you have a certificate of posting with the buyers address on it (postcode at least). Just get a claim form from Royal mail or download one from their site. Standard parcels before 6th April covered up to £36 of loss.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. That doesn't protect against scammers on ebay though does it.......in fact it lets them get away with it.0 -
