Their TNT rates are excellent, though banding it around on here that they offer TNT services may not be a great idea.
Thanks for the reply but I am puzzled? Why should it not be a great idea to put on here that they offer TNT services?0 -
I have an account with them. They send you blank waybills with their account number on for all the services that you ask for - TNT DHL and others. You get the price from the Bdoo site and have to phone up the carrier yourself and make the booking. You get a monthly invoice from Bdoo and the amount is taken direct from your bank account. I've used them for 8 months or so without a problem. I normally check prices with Bdoo , interparcel and Pharos and whoever else is flavour of the month and for the sort of prices and weights i send Bdoo perhaps are cheapest 1 out of 10
quotes. The ball ache (compared with interparcel for instance where its all automated saving you phone calls and filling in waybills) makes it unattractive unless you are time rich. And yes for dos hat you need weights and sizes.
Thanks for the reply - is the quote that they provide on the website accurate or are there other charges (except VAT)?0 -

I havent had any hidden charges added and the prices have been accurate.
You have to accept that the carrier will check weigh and check the sizes and the amount you pay could alter if you havent got the sizes and weight right. You get an invoice a short time before Bdoo take the money from your bank account so there is a window of opprotunity to query anything with Bdoo that you think might be wrong. I havent had to raise any queries so cannot say how difficult this process may be. Some people might not like the thought of giving Bdoo direct bank account access.0 -

as far as i know only the royal mail and parcelforce can send items to BFPO addresses, you could try:

ArmitageShanks you seemed to have missed the 2 questions above, why dont you want people to know ?

...because some carriers are keener than others on people re-selling their services. Ultimately policies on re-selling come from the very top, so even if the area rep is fine with it, if the upon high get wind of it they can close the account in a instant. TNT happen to one of the carriers who are overall hostile to re-selling. This thread is watched intensely by all the carriers (just ask creditcrunchy), so I would hate for a companies exposure on here to cause them problems- especially when they offer very good service.
That's my take on it, and suppose I'm slightly protectionist as a result.yahyapatel91 wrote: »you can send parcel for low price be going to most.....£100000 to EU .............0 -
Sorry if I'm asking something thats been answered a million times
I've got DHL coming tomorrow, I had already packaged up my parcel before going to find the specific cheapest courier (I wanted to make sure my packaging didn't up the weight) It says that the pick up driver will want to check the parcel so I should leave it open, Should I bother unwrapping it??
I'm thinking the driver will probably want to get the parcel and leave as quickly as possible and therefore not bother following this "rule".. am I being naive?
