creditcrunchy wrote: »I sent a parcel with Freightsearch What was the booking ref?over 3 months ago, DHL lost it & I got no insurance payout so I would never risk using Freightsearch again. If you ask me DHL International have no idea Freightsearch are reselling their service so be careful.
Who asked you!
I see that Armitageshanks has stepped up his ‘Express Packges’ spamming campaign. He continues to avoid recommending the best companies in favour of his beloved Express Packages despite the fact they have no website & hardly any feedback. If anyone else did this surely you would question their motives.
YES you are right everyone should use parcelforce! Far far far better than DHL!
As for Directparceldistribution / Lowcostparceldelivery, I can’t quite believe the nerve of this guy. To steal from customers & then come back on this thread to promote his new website is unbelievable. Did any one contact trading standards to try & get him prosecuted? Why doesn’t ArmitageShanks stamp down on this straight away? DirectParcelDistribution are on the avoid list however it states “To their credit they do seem to be refunding people for failed bookings”. It was also not long ago when ArmitageShanks offered to remove DirectParcelDistribution from the avoid list if they sorted out the Fedex Fiasco. Unsurprisingly soon after this his Fedex bills were cancelled. Don’t forget ArmitageShanks got his refund from DirectParcelDistribution long before anyone else. Not only this but ArmitageShanks kept telling everyone that DirectParcelDistribution were being taken over when know one else could get in contact with them (unsurprisingly they were not taken over). My question is why have Lowcostparceldelivery not been added straight to the avoid list & why has Armitageshanks not made it clear they are dangerous & should be avoided.
What ever you say! How do you know all this stuff maybe you are direct parcel distribution?
Should ArmitageShanks be allowed direct contact with the companies he is promoting or is it a conflict of interest? I have no problem with Armitageshanks promoting the services he uses however he shouldn’t be getting preferential treatment from these companies.0 -
I knew it wouldn’t be long before the gutless owner of DirectParcelDistribution / lowcostparceldelivery came to the defence of ArmitageShanks.0

grrrrrrr, i am waiting on a collection still for today. they have about 6 minutes before i leave in a bit of a foul mood...:grouphug:

a no show from dhl through saletrack, and an awkward method of booking in advance.
imo if i book for sameday collection there is more chance of very late collections, or complete no shows. so why make it difficult to book in advance, it doesn't make sense.
and with freightsearch not having responded to a new business email, i think i'm running out of options. i will rinse the money i have in saletrack account and consider my (limited) options
parcelforce 'shudder':grouphug:

Who else have you tried? Do you use an account or just pay as you go?
I think all of the DHL resellers are feeling the pinch at the present.
DHL have been moving over to operating via contractors, working on each depot at a time. Maybe you live near one of the depots that's recently changed? Or perhaps its one of the DHL depots that have closed?0 -
I'm sure creditcranky will be along soon to tell us all about the present DHL situation.0
