Cheap Parcel Delivery Thread Mk4

I know some of you have your concerns and after reading the forums I thought I had booked a lemon but I have used http://www.lowcostparceldelivery.com/ for DHL a few times now and they have been great. Ordering is quick enough (ok you do have to type the addresses in) with only a couple fo questions about the parcel. No volumetric calculation stuff here! As long as it is under the max weight and size its done. £7.50 all in for 48Hr. Bargain.
Initial confidence can be low - You dont get any emails, other than paypal payment, and no confirmation/tracking details until the selected courier turns up and collects but touch wood its fine. Definately worth a look, and no I dont work for them/have any connection with them. Just felt it worth giving credit where its due.0 -

So why did my spam sensor go off when i read this?
Lets see Mr Newposter could it be that there are plenty of recommended carriers on the first page yet you decide to break newground and try a newboy with no track record who has already tried some underhand self promotion which must tell you something about the operation - especially as it has been linked with DPD who crashed and burned owing money to users of the service.
It might be a very good service but my advice would be to keep well away.
Why not try a post allong the lines
" Hi - i'm the guy who took your money when DPD crashed but i,m trying again and this time things will be different - trust me"
We might just believe that one.0 -

Hi, I am looking to send a parcel to Australia from the UK with the following dimensions:
L: 37cm
W: 25cms
H: 8cm
Weight: 4Kg
Value £50
The best deal so far is with https://www.p4d.co.uk at £35.98.
Any other cheaper recommendations?
Thanks so much in advance.0 -

Should of really checked before I opened my my mouth. But I've checked now and intperarcel and WPS are over £40. So it looks like I should add them to the list, shame I don't think they want to go on.
Bananadoo are very similar to p4d in price. We've used them once on very expensive shipment to America and all was fine.

I've had no problems with freightsearch and DHL.
As you've made 4 posts since joining and all of them sniping at freightsearch perhaps you ought to try a different company? You might be jinxed.;)
I didn't realise. I usually just read MSE not post. I expect I was having probs each time although initially everything went well.0 -

Actually I didn't realise I had. They were great at first and I recommended them on different forums. However I was asking to see if anyone else was having problems or if it was just me....and some people are.
I have told Freight search I will go elsewhere now as the parcel that was finally collected 2 days late can't be tracked at present. I was hoping that the problems were just a blip and they would return to being excellent. Obviously I've given them too long....as my posts show.
Wish you had been more pleasant about me.0
