MoT, we need one of Shauns piccies with the bear and the hugest bunch of flowers for I-T
:xmastree:is the best I can do
I'm SO glad that he didn't need ITU (HDU? IC? whatevva) It must mean that he didn't need many transfusions??? (What do I know, the only medicine I know is from House, so it probably isn't Lupus.)
Popeye is now on the road, until he gets to the airport on Thursday night and flies through the night to get home on Friday :j:j:j
As per usual, the children I don't see from one month to the next are descending upon us this weekend :mad: If I get 5 minutes peace with him, it will be a miracle :mad: :rotfl:
And if I say "I think I need an early night" they'll do the dirty on me and say "Popeye, can you just take a look at my car........etc etc" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
NB even children in their 20's can (try and) ruin your sex life :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Teenagers/offspring will try won't they? Perhaps you could show it them and then whilst they are engrossed nip off for a bit;):rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Picked I-T up from hospital yesterday and, apart from localised pain, he is doing really well :j. He was shattered last night but was determined to stay up and watch 'May contain nuts' on ITV which gave him a good laugh! Haven't heard him yet today and I do hope that he stays in bed for a good long rest. He has an outpatients appt in 4 weeks when he will get the results of everything that was removed and then have radiotherapy and another scan.
I am off today getting car mot'd and having lunch with friend, D. I-T was insistent I still went out with her as all he will do is sit and watch daytime tv and doze. I won't be that long anyway and it will give me something different to talk to him about when I get back.
Twins have a 10k Fun Run at school today - that's supposed to fun:eek::eek:!!!! Not sure that realise just how far 10k is :rotfl:.
Have a good weekend all xxChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
10 K :eek:
Running :eek::eek:
oh boy am I unfit, even thinking about walking less than 3K to work gets me reaching for the car keys
Glad I-T's op seems to have gone well.
I keep thinking about that run :eek:
Run 10K v snooze in front of daytime TV :rotfl:neither would appeal to me.
House is FULL of DS1 & gf, Lodger and all their carp.
Makes me really :mad::mad:
Got in last night and said "Popeye'll be home in the morning, can we ensure this is all clear otherwise we'll be having him moan about how cluttered/dark/pokey the UK is"
Had a meeting in the evening with boss re the future of the company (went better than I thought it would) and came back to tidier heaps of carp.:eek:
This morning I have:
put dishes INTO dw (they'd only put them ON dw) :mad:
put recycling stuff into the various boxes from the mountain they'd assembled :mad:
turned off all electricals that had been left on standby :mad:
gazed at the tool boxes/books/paperwork that had been placed into tidy mountains :mad:
Popeye is now on the train from the airport on his way home :happyhear but I'm at work :mad:0
