:j:j:j:beer: thanks Shaun. I'll get rid of my ironing pile each week during House
Well I'm back, and wish to cancel all previous griping
F-i-L was so pleased to have his wife back safe and sound. He made me toast (offered an egg even) and gave me a bottle of gin and Popeye has a bottle of Whisky too (it may however go the way of his Easter egg though :rotfl::beer:) as thanks
I feel appreciated
And raspberries to S-i-L who didn't think to invite me to the birthday tea - I don't care anymore :rotfl:
Pig of a return journey, sharing the motorway with roadworks and caravans  (sorry to any caravan owners out there, I can see the lure, I just don't want you in front of me going up hill :rotfl:)0 -
Olive! What a result! I'm very pleased for you :j and for me when it comes to double House :j:j2023: the year I get to buy a car0
-
And a further good result......
I have been offered sufficient air-miles to take me to Africa and back from someone on this web-site :j:j:j for a little over half the price of a ticket :j:j:j
We're just negotiating the practicalities - one of us (him ) has to take the risk that the other (me [imagine the halo clad character here]) is not going to run off with the others money.
He says he's read my diary..........so thanks :A:iloveyou:0 -

Well June is underway........did I say in January that I wanted to be DF in June?
Well I would have been if Popeye and I didn't keep flying to see each other, and I hadn't bought a new computer/a new carpet/redecorated DS2's room/lived a good life
And a review of my May challenges:
1 I did do at least 2 MS's a week on average (despite being away for one week) and earned £58
2 I did surveys and earned £1.60 :rotfl:and a great many entries into a prize draw.
3 Amazon/e-bay absolutely Zero effort here
4 Not spending stuff......well I bought a new computerbut NO new clothes
So for June, I'll keep an eye on mystery shops, but abandon the surveys, I really don't see how they can justify 20 mins for 10p (30p an hour ) and I keep being screened out of the ones that pay £1.
I'm going to be keeping a spending diary, and aiming for more NSD's
Spending less is the way forward for me.......
So far I have spent nothing and found 70p :j
Which makes my 20p tonight free
I need more potting compost and eggs, but I'll postpone that until tomorrow.0 -

I'm in a dreadful sulk today
Popeye has just advised me that he's bought a ticket to some important match, not just a ticket but a hospitality package. £300
In the olden days I'd have gone out and matched his spending on a new frock. But I have to find £10K by July, and I'd only really got to £7K
So today I'm looking for a 0% BT (We have virgin)
What's the point of Quidco-ing (£6.47 for the month), Mystery shopping (£68) scratch'n'clicking (£15) and surveys (£1.60) when that isn't even a third of a spur of the moment spend.
I told him that I'd cancelled my birthday outing and he's gone all quiet on me :rotfl:0 -
Oh boy. I hope you're having more words with him. A hospitality package!!!!!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
