Well I haven't posted for a while but I have browsed a few times.

Today I am mostly suffering from snot I'm fairly convinced it is at least Swine Flu, but being the uncomplaining sort I have struggled on heroically with nary a complaining word passing my lips :whistle:

Work has spiralled downwards :wall: (not sure what really sums up how I feel about it :rotfl:) The company is having the most dreadful cash flow problems, which is my responsibility - though not my fault, but quite stressful. And one of the toddlers has handed in their notice and has been offended at the calm way the boss has accepted it. (Boss fighting to keep the company going might have something to do with it )

I haven't quite plucked up courage to say to the boss, "BTW, I'd like another day off"

So the weekend was welcomed. :beer:
I've shopped, made Ma-in-Laws bed ready for Wednesday, done a mystery shop and submitted the report, LOADS of washing and cleaned most of the kitchen. In between dying of Swine Fever.
Tonight I'm having supper at friends, :jand tomorrow I'm visiting my Aged P's. :j (Should spread the disease around nicely Pa said "come whatever, we've had our jabs we'll be all right")

It's a stupid waste of a days holiday though. Ma-IL arriving 24 hours before our evening flight. So a day at home "entertaining" her.

I've offered her my ironing pile........

Urg, sorry to hear you've got swine flu .... good news that someone else is cooking for you tonight tho! Hope you can smell it through the flu.

I never have a witty retort either Karma! But I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading some of the things others write :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Last night I lay in bed hacking away and felt right sorry for myself. I was convincing myself that I was heading for another chest infection and would be unable to fly long haul on Thursday :eek::eek:

This morning the sun is shining, the cough has receded to just an irritation and I'm back to being just snotty :rotfl: And FK has the day off :j:jso it should be more peaceful in the office

If I'm stressed about the parlous state of the companies money - how much more so must my boss be? So there is always somebody worse off isn't there?

Sorry you were hacking in bed last night, have you tried one of those vaporizer('scuse american sp)things?

Company money is always a worry as you can see your wages going down the swanny, if things go belly up!:eek: But you really shouldn't take it all too heart, distance your self a bit ( not easy to do when you are a concientious person) but try at least.

So vitamins down your throat, stuff packed for Popeye to rub your chest with;)and you are all set to go. Hands back mask:D:rotfl:
