Nice to see you MoT, and :mad::mad: to jackhammers outside bedroom windows - aren't there laws about that sort of machinery at that time of night?????? Certainly I wouldn't be allowed to do building work on my home before 7am so why are they allowed to??????

Best of luck for Monday, every hope that it is good news.:grouphug:

The musical is Mame, which I calle Mamee, cos I think of maim otherwise and imagine Texas Chainsaw Massacretype story........

OK, I'm wrong (not for the first time :p) they ARE allowed to be very noisy at night. But they *shouldn't* be allowed!

I'm back from my mystery shops and I've spent rather a lot :o
Enquiry was continually thwarted by the busyness of the staff, I made 4 attempts and then gave up
But letting a saleswoman say their spiel without interruption, nay not just no interrupting my task was to encourage the talk..............:o Of course I've bought lots of goodies to pamper myself ~but I'm worth it :D I'll get £5 back on the £20 I spent :o
And I got a £5 off a £15 spend coupon at WHSmiths......so I chose a few books for Popeye (1 cookery-for-people-who-hate-cooking book, a biog of Obama and a book about the 1970's by "Gene Hunt" )

So with me smelling gorgeous and a few books to read, what more can a man want? Oh yes, I'm bringing his mother out with me :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh, I forgot that bit! The bed was shaking every few seconds too (no I-T wasn't in it with me at the time ;)) DD's deodorant bottle did a merry dance across her bedside chest and DS's water glass was edging it's way everso slowly to falling off his bedside chest berfore he moved it!

Spent yesterday evening at the Urgent Care Centre (which is what our General Hospital is now called as all main services transferred to Watford - thank you Mr Brown :mad::mad:) as DS running a high temperature of 39 degs and was very flushed - they were very thorough and checked him out for swine flu (which he hasn't got - thankfully) and decided that he has a chest infection. So that is DS at home today with paracetamol and antibiotics. Grandad and Granny will look after him from 2pm when we take the train into London for I-T's appt with the Consultant.

Anyway, as it is silly o'clock again I must go back to bed, hope you all have a good day xx

No I commented on the thread linked to his latest blog. (Why am I promoting HIS blog?) about Downing Street petitions.
