He's nearby!!!! Glad you addressed some of the mountains, but grrr to them for leaving it to you to finish off. Hope you have a lovely weekend!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

He's home now and should be tucked up in bed.
I did leave a rather shirty note for the housemates which amused Popeye!
And following last nights meeting, FK is going on an anger/people management type course :j:j I was  that she agreed she had problems getting on with people :rotfl:0 -
Well so much for me being cc debt free by June.
I've applied for another 0% cc to transfer the balance for another 6 months.
A play.com card for heavens sake :rotfl:but only 1.5% fee and it really really will be gone before Christmas.
It has to, otherwise how can I retire to Africa?????
And I need to pay for Popeye's shares 1st week in July so have to find £4K :eek: and could only do it if I BT'd the 0% cc we have where the 0% is expiring.......0 -
Glad to hear I-T is ok MOT. Wishing for a speedy recovery.
I know you are frustrated at the moment Olive, but way to go on those totals and you know it will be gone this year, so all worth it IMHO. Have a good time with Popeye.xxBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
I haven't heard from Play about my card......though I've got my fingers crossed
But when I did my on-line banking last night Barclays were offering me 0% too on a new B'card.......so it was worth cancelling my unused cards last year
I look forward to other companies begging for my custom :rotfl:
And last night we had a meeting with our mortgage advisor (Popeye gets all the treats when he's home, he'd already been to the Optician:p) and this was a review and an attempt to fix a rate ahead of the expiry of our current fixed rate. As the advisor went through our figures he was stunned/amazed/impressed at the change over the last two years(Our remaining cc debt is £6K @ 0% and the 3 loans are drifting gently to an end, there are no overdrafts, it looks lovely and under control. We aren't even going to increase our mortgage.) He was however a little shocked at the housekeeping budget - I could see that he wasn't taking that home to the missus :rotfl::rotfl:

I haven't posted here for a while - though I've been around, catching up on other diaries
Lots going on really, and some quite difficult to explain.
On the MSE front,- I have BT'd £4K @ 0% so I can buy Popeyes shares this month.
- Should be kicking Cap1 into touch at the end of July, but it'll be tight.
so I've signed up for 15 NSD's
- I am *still* expecting my piano buyer to take it away........:p
- the overdrafts were deaded, but will return this month
- I've sorted a lot of things to e-bay, much as I hate the process.
- Popeye has abandoned me - again
but is back in August. (Bargainous flight we got for him :j)
- DD has had a bit of a breakdown, and I've had to shuttle up to Leeds to effect a bit of a rescue. She'll be home tomorrow, but instead of graduating this year, it has been knocked back 6 months
- DS1 is homesick and at sea........
- DS2 is doing end of year exams, adoring uni and will be back next week
- Lodger has met problems, and won't be moving out for some time.....which has made fitting everyone in over the summer a little difficult.
