whereas I drew a line at the rather garlicky langoustines that DD had prepared - I'm even balking at eating them for my lunch

I like curry for breakfast, don't know why but it is good.
Hope the office survived your lunch Olive.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hmmm this 15 NSD's in July is proving a bit harder than I thought. - and it's only the 3rd :rotfl:
July 1st - DD needed a prescription (she's being treated for depression, part of the cause is debt, she is a poor student, but medically they are only allowed to prescribe for a month at a time......so her depression costs her £7 a month ) And as we were there I did our shopping taking advantage of Martins wine deal.............:o
July 2nd - spotted a bargain luggage set - well you know we need luggage
July 3rd - Need a new number plate to replace one which was vandalised
perhaps I could move the goalposts a bit and things we NEED don't count?
I think I NEED a bar of chocolate to think about this.........;)0 -
DD needed a prescription ,,,,this is not a luxury and i wouldn't count it,, so still a nsd
July 2nd - spotted a bargain luggage set ,,,er oops
Need a new number plate,,,, ,this is not a luxury and i wouldn't count it,, so still a nsd
nsd are hard to do..
but like today i had to get bread and milk ,,,,other had gone off in the heat,,,so as far as im concerned its a nsd
however had i been tempted to buy ..a cake or gum any little thing at all i would count the whole thing as a spend so its not a nsd
like most i try to book in nsd,,,just thinking about what you need to get from the shops for the next 3days allows you 2 nsd,,,,
but theirs always exceptions...if i run out of baby milk do i not get it now till sun..
sometimes you have to get bits,,,personally this is ok aslong as i only get the emergancy item,,,
ps
if tomorrow is a hot day icecream can not be counted as an emergancy itemWAS DEBT FREE & STILL BAAARRRRRKING
hello my name is shaun,,,and im not so addicted to farmville, still addicted to football:o:o

OK so I can count July 3rd, as an unavoidable, due to legal requirement spend, making it my first NSD.
And I started so well on 4th, I didn't even buy a Saturday paper, though I like one at the weekend. Dear Ma put petrol in my car so no spend there, and then I fell at the final post. Her shopping came to £11.40 and she only had a tenner........how could I refuse, she insisted that she would settle up when we got home, but of course her short term memory is non existent and I wasn't going to remind her.
So today I daren't buy a paper I'm way behind schedule on this 1 in 2 NSD's for July :rotfl:
I've visited Wol too:D and had a great evening
:D Arrived in time to see her labourers stripped to the waist, their toned and tanned bodies glistening with sweat in the sunshine.:drool: Those three guys were positively gorgeous
