Oh sweetie! Hang on, the rim? I thought it was where you just said, next to her head. And I don't think you have to do ebay, you can send it to the Royal Mint for your £50.... breathe..... breathe again.... check out the official website, they have piccies. It'd be awful to miss out cos you went through it too quick. There's no
involved, just eagerness!
2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
No KC, I've looked, it's def. dated

I shall eat my own body weight in burgers at lunchtime for free
Who needs money to have a good time
(I'm trying not to think of the 2 car services I have to pay for,and concentrating on Popeye's return in 4 weeks time :j)

That must be one of the quickest £50 you have ever made.....and lost!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

burgers .... Popeye ..... those are Good Things! Cos I'm ill, I just went back to bed for a little while (with a hot water bottle!!!) and played Paul McKenna's confidence tape. I must make space to do that when I'm well - the tape, I mean, not the nap!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

BAAAARRRRRRRRRRKING er insanely so0 -
Make room for the nap too KC.
We had the Last night of the play yesterday. And a little party afterwards. So slept in this morning.
The next play starts auditoning next week :rotfl: (I'll volunteer to be prompt only though!)
And my absolute dream part is available next Spring so I'm going to prepare for that
It's a godsend that my hobby is such a MS occupation :rotfl:I'd be in trouble if I followed football, or needed ski-ing holidays (poor old Hypno, if only her two wanted to mess around on stage that would cost her 40p a week :rotfl:)
So today I have had a good go at my spreadsheets. And my weakness' this month are going to be 2 cars needing sevicing (£200 for the first one, the 2nd one :eek: so far needs 4 new tyres and an exhaust, and something complicated with either brushes or bushes.....) and sorting DD out. She has messed up her finances big time. (I think I saw the word "Default" on one of her bits of paper when we unpacked her ) She gets home on Wednesday and I've got her card marked.0 -
Will do, Olive - I'm feeling a fair bit better today, just had a walk round the block - saw a lovely couple of puppies, including a husky one, on its first trip out of the house.
I used to do am dram .... oh my god, I still remember the adrenalin overload! What's your dream part?2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
(poor old Hypno, if only her two wanted to mess around on stage that would cost her 40p a week :rotfl:)
Oi you - less of the old please :rotfl:
Although 40p a week does sound tempting :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hypno I have no right to call you old, you are WAY younger than me!
Apologies.
And my dream part is Lettuce in Lettuce & Lovage by Peter Schaffer. Although there may be problems licensing this play, and we'd have to look elsewhere anyway. Auditions in January 2010, by which time I may have learnt my lines :rotfl:
Today I have been baking to use up aged eggs and tired fruit/veg
The beetroot cake is a bit over cooked or flat (eggs to blame?)
The apple bread failed because I was trying to make the dough in the BM and it baked it.I have some sweet bread now
so to use the apples I had another go at apple cake but it is very sweet and fell apart.
We'll have the apple cake with creme fraiche for pudding tonight.
The beetroot cake will do for packed lunches (I'm really not fussy)
But I'm struggling to think of a use for a flavourless sweet bread0 -
What about making a trifle with it, Olive? Or mashing it up and using it a bit like the bread in a bread pudding?2023: the year I get to buy a car0
