OK making a beetroot cake to use up old eggs and beetroot was possibly a BAD idea
It tastes BLEURGH :rotfl: nothing like the moist and juicy carrot cake that I envisaged.
Won't stop me eating it though
I'm currently struggling not to go to the cafe for a egg'n'sausage bap with brown sauce for my lunch. I need the NSD's :rotfl:0 -

swap it for a butty? Beannie it really isn't nice, I should maybe have set the food processor to a finer grater.......:o It's like cake + beetroot chunks :rotfl:
I'm SO resisting the call of the cafe - who'd have thought that a person could be so stubborn about holding onto a £20 note? (not to mention the 2p profit) :rotfl:0 -
^^^ lol
I need to go & post a card to France but dont want to do it as would have to beak into the £20!!!!

Raiding the coppers pot? Def. Not! -but I've permitted using found money in my total.
:rotfl:
Today I'm breaking into my £20. I am having lunch at the cafe. There was no bread at home, and the kids have eaten the tuna & pasta salad so there was nothing to bring in(I supppose I could have made more bread
) but as it will be a spend day I'll make it worthwhile
Last night the kids Dad took them out for a curry and the blighters brought me back a mint :mad: instead of a doggy bag :rotfl:
Good news on the DFW front:- I found there's one more month on the 0% card, which has eased the pressure.
- DD & I have registered as "trade" for a hairdressing suppliers and can get our expensive (sorry, VERY expensive) products at 1/4 price :money:As I have been using hotel samples and diluted good stuff I'm quite excited
- DD and I have registered as trade for a hairdressing suppliers and we'll be tempted

wholesale hairdresser supplies :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I don't look after myself enough, that wouldn't be a temptation to me. I'd love to start dying my hair in some ways, but I'd so many comments for sooo long, because I've let it go so grey. Keep posting about the supplies, I'd like my mind to be changed....2023: the year I get to buy a car0

DD once had a Saturday job at a salon and had a brochure from one of the suppliers. So we're pretending that she is a trainee at the salon, which entitles her to buy the stuff. Fortunately she retains a good relationship with the owner of the salon, so if they contacted them direct he'd vouch for her. But I suppose if one registered as a mobile hairdresser that would work too......;)
My hairdresser is very posh, and he [STRIKE]sells[/STRIKE] sold me shampoo at £8 a bottle  This way I pay £8 for 2 litres :rotfl:0
