:rotfl::rotfl:And it will get worse when you start playing bingo!:rotfl::rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Bit of good news from our camp - exDH has got a job :j:j:j Its been 12 months minus 6 days since he was made redundant and the maintenance stopped, but it looks like I shall be receiving it again within the next week or so as he will be paid weekly :j:j:j Its half what it was but who cares - it will be fab:j:j:jChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -

Not a drop of the hard stuff has passeed my lips today
But I still haven't copied Bingo over to the new computer Bob, because I'm still having problems. How can MSE use 25% of my CPU????
Tomorrow sis & I are going to help aged P's.....
When I return I must pay the cc's or we'll get charged interest :eek:0 -
Well I took a month off posting on my diary. Mostly because I've recently sent an awful lot of people this way and I didn't want them finding me.
but also I needed a break.
Popeye however has nagged me daily to get back to posting properly. I'm not sure why, I think he takes real pride in our signature (our debts, so our siggie) But I think I've over estimated our debt this month, or double accounted for the overdraft or something..., so maybe at the beginning of September there'll be a nice fall
Not a lot to report on the debt busting.
I've given up Bingo/surveys/daily clicksand done no mystery shopping
:o
Popeye came home for a week, had flu and then left.
DD has a job :jbut accidently strayed into the congestion zone and then forgot to deal with it, incurring a £60 fine :mad:
Aged P's struggle onwards. Ma's memory has taken a turn for the worse and we spend a lot of time in her youth, and struggle to remember anything of now.But I've read a very supportive book, called Contented Dementia, and that has given us tools to deal kindly with her.
Am learning words/drafting scenes and actually doing something about my writing.
The plan for the next few days is:- a little bit of DIY (mending some render on the front of the house/painting door frames)
- some garden clearance - very little was done in that WET July, but weeds are doing just dandy!
- claim £70 from the carpet fitters for the carp job they did
- investigate the next step in my campaign against an airline.....
- help DD do another Boot at the weekend (sorting stuff, not actually attending
)
- get back to some OS catering (inspired by Bob
)
- do some cleaning (Hypno & Shaun to blame here
)

Hi Olive - Shaun has said all the welcome, really! Life sounds like its going on pretty good for you, apart from Popeye having the flu
when he was home ... but there's always bits to do, aren't there!

... but there's always bits to do, aren't there!
Thanks Shaun, I can rely on you for a good emoticon :rotfl:
As for things to do.........Karmacat you are not wrong.
I'm rather pleased this morning that the repairs I did to the render around the front door last night haven't actually fallen off :rotfl:But if the patching lasts until Popeye's next visit at Christmas I will be truly amazed.
And I'm still not drinking alcohol during the week which gives me more energy in the evening but still disrupts my sleep enormouslyI lie awake at night for hours. What I tend to do is turn the light on and read. In the morning my bed is strewn with newspapers (Lodger buys a newspaper, I read it 24 hours later :rotfl:) I thought it would have settled down by now but it is still occuring
At work the rows have continued, but one of the toddlers leaves today (unfortunately not FK) so FK will have new prey next week0 -
