Oh yes - the gloss paint might be part of the reason for the headaches!

I'm fairly convinced that the headaches were caused by a lack of caffeine - Hypno can you do 48 hours without coffee or chocolate? It darn near done me in. Herbal teas aint the same. :o

However I failed on the detox/diet today :o popped to church and got caught up in a 25th wedding anniversary festivity "of course you must stay!" I looked at the catering and thought I could probably eat the ingredients of a juice with all the salad available..........but there was also Afghan Rice ( but it was YUM) coronation chicken (only a teaspoon honest!) and vegetarian curry :o Now I'm back home I'm kicking myself.
But according to the scales I'm 6lbs down so I shall continue with the juices..........

The sun isn't yet hot enough really. Certainly not what I think they promised us. But I shall get into the garden and dig a bit now.

With you mentioning your sig, I just checked out those figures - wow, they're *very* impressive, Olive, definitely light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm glad to receive that positive stroke, Thanks KC, sometimes I look at all hypno is doing and wonder if I could do better than I am.:o

I'm not doing as much as I should be - I just post a lot to make me look more productive than I really am. It is benben who deserves the medal for "she-who-does-the-most" I reckon!

I can manage the caffeine thing, believe it or not, if I tell myself that I can do it - I have successfully done so several times before, because I know that I drink far too much of it.

I really do need to get in control of my diet - I don't want to go on a diet as such, as they do my head in, but I do need to stop eating crap, because my clothes are getting too tight - even my bigger ones, so that is not so good.

I did consider a detox starting on Tuesday, but I worry about how I will manage at work when it all gets stressful, so I will just have to cut out the crap instead, and see if that makes a difference. I need to lose at least a stone - preferably two, so really do need to make an effort. I need to do a low carb diet - I used to be on one permenantly, and I felt much better on so many levels, so that is what I will be doing after tomorrow.......

6lbs is excellent in just a few days :T

The more you have to lose the faster it comes off Hypno! :o

Well my kitchen floor is clean (for the third time this week ), I've picked up the manky apples in the "orchard" and I'm up to date with the ironing. It's amazing how much free time you get when there's less meal preparation to do :D
I'd like to read the paper but I just *know* it will be full of food related articles and yummy recipes :o
Perhaps I'll fiddle with my spreadsheets and update my siggie early.....

Updated signature, didn't buy anything else on e-bay and had a lengthy lie-in this morning :D
Will go to Lidls today- last chance to use my coupon that I forgot last week :o so not a NSD. I may even go to Tesco with another coupon......

DD moving back to uni, Lodger looking for her own place, it sems I shall be alone again shortly. And the house has seemed SO full recently - am I never satisfied?

Today I *should* get in the garden. But if it is to remain cool I may instead continue painting gloss.....

Off to make another juice and catch up on the diaries ;)

It's a [STRIKE]Monday[/STRIKE] Tuesday morning and the first of the month, so a whole load of new starts starting NOW ;)

Yesterday was (unsurprisingly as I stayed at home and pottered) a NSD. :j
Today is the FIFTH day of this flippin' juice diet and I am seriously BORED :o

    On the money front:
    • I shall be able to pay a wodge of rent and refund on the carpet fitting money into the overdrawn bank :D
    • Quidco have paid :j not the £17-ish I was expecting, because the annual fee went out but £13.10 is £13.10 :D
    • Should be a NSD - and not even 20p coffee money tonight because coffee isn't allowed on this juice diet :D
    • I had planned to reward myself with a new pair of jeans if I stuck to the diet and lost a goodish amount of weight. But this morning I tried on the Red'n'Dead (or something like that - posh jeans for me anyway :rotfl:) jeans that I'd bought on a mystery shop, which I had bought too small :o. They FIT (well almost, a rather unattractive overhang - but I CAN do them up :j) So my enthusiasm for the diet, which has been waning is re-ignited ;) AND my reward was MS :D
    • Will try and get M&S to refund Popeyes money, without him doing it. I have a letter already signed by him to close the account, I just need to insert where they're to send the money :o
    • Signature updated - :D:D:D:D Spreadsheets fiddled with, and I might not make it to DF-ness by Christmas, which I'd hoped, but not far off. :D (Nobody mention the June goal :o we've blown an awful lot of money on flights this year :o)
I feel cheery and optimistic this morning (for a change :rotfl:) New guy starts at work, hopefully the atmosphere will improve. :D Popeye is probably going to finish his contract in the Spring next year, so he's coming back, rather than me emigrating. (I have mixed feelings about my missed opportunity, but it is at least an answer. We couldn't go on much longer with this long distance marriage :o)

Have a great day everyone :D:A

New Guy seems level headed and sensible, I lived in hope that the atmosphere would improve  Sadly FK, who has no reason to moan about her co-sales-person (yet), has decided to moan big time about and to the boss

    On the MS front:
    • A NSD yesterday, :D
    • A mystery shop tonight - I'm taking DS2 out for a beer'n'curry :j
    • Cat has taken a liking to Lidl cat food :money: (bound to be temporary - he changes his mind just to annoy)
    • went out for supper with friends last night - and they treated me
    • wrote to M&S asking for Popeyes money back.
    • 3 x apple and blackberry crumbles in the freezer, from windfalls and brambles growing in the garden :o
Still feeling upbeat-ish, but the days to our next reunion are dragging :o The airline web-site has a countdown feature, it says "only 23 days four hours and 15 minutes to your next flight" and I keep clicking on it to see if my flight is nearer :rotfl:(It is, but only a little bit :rotfl:)

It's took me ages to catch up with this diary.
Nice to see a decision made regarding emigration and everything is looking really positive. Those totals are fantastic.
