Render. Cor - I wish I could get my act together to do the repointing that would help hold my house together. As I just confessed on hypno's diary, I've spent the day reading fan fiction on t'interweb2023: the year I get to buy a car0
-
Well it is chucking it down here
The rendering needs a little bit more added
I'll have to mix some more tomorrow, top it up and paint it at the weekend when it is forecast to be dry (the weather as well as the render
)
So I could:
1) paint some gloss work in the hall
2) do some writing
3) balance my spreadsheets and accounts for September-work out what my new signature will be now that I've got our figures.
4) carry on reading diaries
I'll let you know whether I've been good
And I bought the Star today to get the £5 voucher for Lidl :money:so I'll make a list and go tomorrow evening....... (I gave the "newspaper" away :rotfl:)0 -

Have you been good then?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hi Olive so good to have you back :j have really missed your daily updates.
Sorry to hear that Popeye wasn't well when he was back, it wasn't the dreadedflu was it? 3 or 4 girls at work were off with it, including 2 that I work with so was expecting that it would come my way but it didn't - thank goodness!
Know what you mean about always finding things to do - after Christmas last year I decided that I would fill in all the little holes in the walls where I had pinned up the decs then touch them up with a tester pot of paint - the other day I realised I still hadn't done them and thought why bother Christmas isn't far off for this year now .
Are you learning lines for a play Olive? I-T hasn't done any plays this year due to being in and out of hospital, it seems to have taken up all our time! When we are at home we're just too kn**kered to do anything more. His chest wall tumour (high grade) has returned and he has to go in for more surgery this week, and they have also found a low grade brain tumour - so not good. Thing is he looks and seems perfectly fit and normal.
The summer holidays seem to have gone fairly quickly despite not being able to have gone on holiday, the twins have done a couple of weeks Drama Workshop which they thoroughly enjoyed, and they still meet up with the others at the group for a bowling session or the pictures. I-T took them to Thorpe Park a couple of weeks for the day and they had a fab time - I had to stay at home cos I had the most awful migraine I've had in years.
Its a pain about your DD's congestion charge fine, but its easy done though to stray into the 'penalty' areas:eek:. She was probably concentrating so much on her driving that she didn't notice the signs. Congrats on her job, what is she doing?
And a big HELLO to everyone else :hello:, nice to see us all back and nattering.
