Hi, I too have had very similar problems with this company. Yoday I took action and contcted trading standards. The call took no more than 5 minutes and if they receive enough complaints they will investigate this company ... you know what to do guys!0

I paid over £70 for a maxi cosi car seat in january and have not received the goods. I have emailed and phoned to no avail and am now trying to get the money back via my bank. They are clearly a scam company who hold your money for interest before shipping the goods. AVOID BEBE AMOR.0

I ordered a Bebe confort travel system from Bebe Amor at the start of Feb, was told delivery in 3-5 days... LISA emailed me to say it would be 7-10 days, so i called and after a few rings i actually got an answer, I asked for a refund, was told pram would be ready 27th feb, i said i wasnt happy with that as im moving house then so wanted a refund ( like most of u im trying to be organised for before the birth!) So anyway they said ok it will take 3-5 days for a refund and he would process it LATER... why not now?
So anyway no refund as yet, ignored all of my emails and ive tried to call about 50 times to no answer!
Called my bank and they will try and reclaim the money and i intend to report this company, my only concern is, if they are shut down and we havent been refunded where does that leave us? does our credit cards still cover that?
They are most definatley Scammers!! DO NOT BUY FROM BEBE AMOR!!
I so wish i found this site before i ordered *cry*0 -
we had enough by fri and drove from cheshire to bebe amore i was quite surprised that the place was open .anyway we collected what parts of our order that they had and then cancelled my pram order.so we needed a refund for £677.00 and was told it was done how i said you haven't even asked for the card?????he said it had been done via internet but we didn't even pay for the goods on the internet!!!!!!they came back with a chq which there was no way i was going to except anyway finally we got them to refund on to our card there and then.we phoned the cc company before leaving and they said as the receipt said verified it should go through.
they had no explaination for not answering the phone my husband tried ringing whist in show room and the phones where not ringing in the office!!!!!!.all i can say if you live to far away to go to the showroom direct DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!!!as you won't get any response via email or phone.
ps.ordering pram from another company today and will arrive weds next week.0 -
I'm smelling something fishy.
Huddersfield is home to Mamas and Papas which has a less than satisfactory track record. Are they related somehow? The man without a signature.0 -
We've now sent 5 emails to them and have been unable to get through to them on the phone. I contacted my bank about trying to claim back through the Visa debit chargeback but said I wasn't covered by my debit card.
I feel like we've just chucked £200 down the drain. Do NOT buy from this company!0 -
We too are having major problems with this company!!
we unfortunatly bought a nursery set price of £700 in January. We got through using the 0800 number on one occasion and were fobbed off with an excuse that they were waiting for one part to come in. Since then we have not managed to get through via phone its constantly engaged or just rings out i doubt if even any1 is in that office on the other end! My partner has sent some emails threatning legal action to which there has been no response and he is on his way to the bank to see if we are covered for any loss. He is thinking of driving there himself Friday we live in Stafford which is about 2 hours away, we were just wandering from others who have been to the office if this is the best way forward to either get out items or demand refund there and then as we are having no joy from phone or email??
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!0 -
to Mel84...
Check out the other threads...a few people have actually driven to the "showroom" to collect their items.. I have given them until Friday to delivery my items and I'll be doing the same no matter how long the drive!!!0 -
Yeah a few people have turned up and got parts of the order or a refund, i wish i lived closer or these people would just do the decent thing0

Update for you all...I received a dispatch notice from Interlink today for part of my order. After checking the interlink website I realised that the delivery was for another order I placed and not for the large items e.g pram, carseat etc..which were the most expensive and goods I really need the most (ordered back in Jan). I sent a chasing email requesting the status of my other order and received an email back from "Lisa" stating that they expected delivery for my pram/car seat on Wednesday/Thursday and "I will have the items by Friday at the very latest"...I'm not holding my breath but god help Bebe Amor if I don't see the rest of by delivery by Friday... To everyone who is having problems, be persistant and just keep emailing them and remember to KEEP all the emails you send (should you need to take matters further).
For people who have had problems, it would be great to hear if you ever recieved your items/refunds as it will give peace of mind to others still trying to obtain goods/refunds...I will certainly keep you posted with regards to my outcome.0
