Wow our pram arrived today - good news.
However, there is part of the order missing - not so good news. So still having to chase this up. I get the impression they are just very disorganised at their end and the guy on the phone today sounded as exasperated as i am. Told me it will be despatched asap so we'll see!
  • Well, just spoke to them after pressing redial a million times and then waiting ages for them to answer.....they say they've had the consignment in this weeks so my buggy should be delivered on Thursday, keep everything crossed!

    :D
  • What a joke this company is. My husband ordered a Maxi Cosi car seat on 18th Jan. Paid for on Visa Debit via google checkout. When it didn't arrive after a week he contacted the company who stated they never received the order (yet they had our money, how strange). They advised item wasn't in stock - although website said it was - and that it was due to arrive in within the week and would be sent out asap. Another week down, no item.

Husband contacted them again (with difficulity contacting them I might add). They assured item was due in on the Mon or Tue and would be sent out overnight to arrive no later than the Wed. This has not been the case. Tried contacting them and the phone was constantly engaged for two days. Eventually got through and was told item is due to arrive at their company over the next couple of days yet it was supposed to be at my house today. Needless to say very annoyed. I've cancelled the order and been told refund within three days. I have let them know in no uncertain terms if that money is not back in my account within three days I will be taking legal action against them. Also pointed out that they website states item in stock with is false advertising.......

Sometimes what seems the cheapest is not always best route. I also google a company if I have not dealt with them before (having been caught out about three years ago), but my husband didn't. So word of warning stay away from this company - they are totally unreliable - and secondly always google a new company you have not dealt with (I'm sure hubby won't make the same mistake again).
  • oh dear....this all sounds very familiar.

We paid for ours on the 24th of Jan. No emails, fobbed off once on the phone and now constantly engaged.

once the 30 days are up we can legally cancel our orders - I was wondering does anyone know if we could serve a winding up petition on this company if they do not refund our payment? (as they are in effect in debt to us)

It needs to be in excess of £750 so perhaps if a few of us did it?

Sorry but I'm not sure how this would work exactly, but I sure as hell am going to get my money back one way or another.
  • This must be some sort of scam company. I placed 3 orders in Jan none of which have arrived so i have called and called and was promised a refund but not arrived yet that was weeks ago now. Is there anything i can do as its £18.75 im owed and i cant afford to go without that kind of money ive got kids to feed.
  • i mean £185.75 not £18.75 (god i wish)!
  • Im willing to do anything to get my money back any ideas are good!
  • dont buy from them, i'll tell you my story soon

How did you pay co2? You can request a chargeback if you paid via a credit card.

  • The last part of our order was despatched yesterday and should be with us today (we've had an email to that effect) so the company have eventually given us everything we paid for (it has taken nearly 6 weeks though). My husband spoke with someone helpful called Adam who it seems made sure the final part of our order did arrive. I don't think they are a scam company (??!) but i do think they are extremely disorganised and there is a major communication breakdown going on somewhere between the warehouse and the sales team. Our item had been sitting in the warehouse and just hadn't been sent out by the despatch people.
Despite the fact that our order has now been sorted i wouldn't recommend them to anyone else due to the hassle that has been involved which is a shame as they offer some very good prices.
We will be writing a letter to the manager there to express our frustration at the service. I think they are setting themselves up to fail by saying 3-5 days delivery for everything on their website which just isn't true - if they were honest about lead times for delivery, people would probably be less angry about the service they were receiving and could decide whether to order from them or not depending on how long they were willing to wait for a cheaper priced product.
