bebe-amor, I paid for pram, never received, no answer

    The website still seems to be working at the moment. I was trying to get through on the phone for ages yesterday and it was engaged for a long time but eventually spoke to someone. However, email doesn't seem to work, i've had no reply to one i sent yesterday.

    I never ever got a response to any emails I sent them and google also used their advocacy thing on my behalf and got no response either.

  • I ordered a pram, car seat and parasol from bebe-amor over three weeks ago. Delivery was, and still is stated as 3-5 working days. When I saw this thread last week I started to worry about it as the payment had been processed.
    I was able to contact them on a few occasions using the customer service number 0800 432 0725 (9am - 5pm) and everything seemed to be OK but I was still a bit worried.
    Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that everything arrived today. I thought it might make people feel better to hear that they can deliver on orders - even if it is a bit later than expected.

    It might make people feel better if you were not a new poster,and bebe amor hadn't just had a post removed.
  • I've now been waiting for the car seat for over 3 weeks and have decided to cancel. I called them last Friday to get an update and they advised it would be in stock on Monday. I then called them again on Monday to check and they said it would be instock Tuesday or Wednesday. After I was told this, and after reading all your comments, I had little faith in them and decided to cancel. I've been told the money should be refunded in 3 -5 working days but I'll have to wait and see (ooh it's that famous 3-5 working days lead again!).

    Anyway thought I should let you know I ended up ordering the car seat from Kiddicare.com on Monday evening and I've just received it this morning (Wednesday). The service was excellent and I will definitely be using them again in the future!

    In response to antikewl, they do answer the phone, it just takes them a very long time to answer. I just sat on the phone hoping that the ringing would annoy them so much that they would have to answer! I also sent them 3 emails which 2 were responded to, but only after 24 hours. Persistence is the key with this lot!
  • I do apologise - I didn't realise being a new poster precluded me from submitting genuine posts. I registered specifically to place this post as I had been very concerned about my own purchase and all I had seen was negative responses to Bebe-amor and while I completely understand the sentiments it seems that people don't often tell you when things work out OK.

    I paid for a Quinny buzz package and thought was too good to be true!!

    and yes it was - they dont have stock as advertised and I double checked on the phone.

    Eventually got to speak to someone on the phone after numerous attempts..

    Still waiting for a refund...

    very dissapointing ...

    I would recommend anyone who has purchsed call a chargeback via their credit card company.

    Bambino Direct are exactley the same.. I have had exactley the same problem and eventually sourced a Quinny locally so trying to save a couple of quid ..

    I have paid out three time over now for this pram and not to mention the STRESS...

    I'm glad someone has received their pram - it is good to hear and makes me feel a bit more confident. Hopefully mine will arrive by Friday this week...:)
  • Darn, I've just ordered a buggy from them and then found this thread......Have just had an email saying that they're not in stock and telling me how to cancel my order if I want to, and promising delivery in 7-10 days.

    We're not in a hurry (baby not due till end of March) so I'll sit tight and wait I think. Will keep you posted!
