bebe-amor, I paid for pram, never received, no answer

  • We too received an email from Lisa after persistent emailing. She apologised, blamed the weather, suppliers (pretty much everything but themselves) and promised that our car seat will be with us by the end of the week. I'm not holding my breath.

    Hello all
    me and my very angry other half have just got back from a 4 hour round trip to the "showroom" shack in Huddersfield!! we were greeted by the manager and his cocky assistant who claimed they were inundated with calls and emails (we did not hear the phone ring once whilst being there) to be told that it was a supplier problem and our stuff would not be in stock till at least end of march! we were told that they were doing their upmost best to answer calls but only have one phoneline and receive over 300 emails a day (complaints i guess). Our suggestion to you all is to drive there as you will never get through to the "team" (who all seemed to be sitting down at desks chatting) and demand a full refund but make sure you do it on your card dont exept a cheque!! we are off to the bank in the morning to check if our refund is pending in our bank account! There were 2 other people also getting refunds while we were there one of which had also travelled many miles taking a day off work!!
    Good luck every1 and i will let you know if my money is refunded

    To Mel 84...Can I ask what items you ordered? Fingers crossed your money is in your account.

    If my delivery doesn't arrive by Friday me and my Partner will also drive there and all I can say is "God help them" If I have to take my 8months pregnant self on a 4hr drive then that's what I'll do. I'll make damn sure they don't forget me in a hurry.
  • I couldn't beleive it when I read all the emails about bebe amor, just wished I looked before ordering. I've been waiting over a month for a travel system from Bebe Amor. Spoke to two people who assured me that the order had been despatched and even got a confirmation from Interlink saying the the travel system would be by 3pm on Friday 13th (unlucky for me) didn't show up nor did it show up on the Monday. Couldn't get through to Bebe Amor surprise surprise!!!, so I rang Baby Style to find out if there was a supplier issue which they said no. Then I rang interlink to find out where the travel system was and spoke to a very P***ed off lady who stated that Bebe Amor had the habit of producing mailing labels which automatically sent a confirmation to the customer but didn't send the items. My daughter had her baby this morning and we are still without our travel system to bring him home. So tomorrow I will have to spend all day on the bleeping phone again. If anyone is thinking of using this company, DON'T. They are full on empty promises and I to will be reporting them to their local T&S and entering this email on to every forum I can get on to and also hitting their suppliers and couriers advising them that they name is being dragged through the mud.:confused:

    we ordered a nursery set, but were told the supplier had let them down with ALL orders!!!!

    we dont understand why they r still advertising to sell items when clearly they are out of stock as the backlog will just mount up more and more!

    andyj2 - please post details for all to read as im sure everyone would like the names and numbers! We need to do what we can to have these people shut down or sorted out!

    I just dont get what they actually manage to achieve apart from theft which is illegal so why are they getting away with it?

    I paid by credit card so should be ok, but im terrified to buy another pram now and we dont have many shops in aberdeen that stock good ones! or if they do they are sooo expensive!

    Guys if u live near definatley go and get your money back and give them a piece of ur mind! I wish i was in a position to do so, but it would cost me so much to get there and defeat the purpose really!

    Ive sent MORE emails - lets see if i get a response! Its all lies anyway so what's the point? And is Lisa a real person or just a name? seems thats the olnly person we all hear from and she cant even type proper English! In an Email from a store id expect more profession, but who am i kidding? its BEBE-AMOR!! :rotfl:

    Keep posting your updates people - we have to help others from making the same mistakes we have!!

    I'm just a bit cautious about posting the information up publicly, as I'm still awaiting delivery of the goods I've ordered, and wouldn't like to jeopardise that potential delivery!

    As I beleive Bebe Amor are actually monitoring and reading this very thread, as one of their posts was deleted from this thread some time ago.

    The funny thing is, if you search for Bebe Amor on Google, this very thread on MSE comes up directly under the link to Bebe Amor's website..... talk about the power of the internet!

    After reading the post from TC0710 I decieded to call interlink to check on my delivery.....AND GUESS WHAT....my items are not in their possession...Bebe Amor just produced the label but the goods were not dispatched. I need to calm down before I write anything else...:mad:

    It looks like the reason I have not received my Cosatto cotbed from Bebe-Amor, is that Bebe-Amor have not even placed an order for the item with Cosatto.

    This information has been provided by Cosatto's Customer Services Manager.

    I filed a complaint with Cosatto yesterday, and they have contacted me this morning via Email. They have also copied one of the Directors of Bebe-Amor on the email, and have asked them to provide me with a response as to the reasons behind the delays I have experienced.

    If I do not receive a satisfactory response from Bebe-Amor within 48-hours, I will be contacting Trading Standards to pursue this matter further.

    I'm on the phone to 'Adam' at Bebe-amor, and have been put on hold whilst he finds out where my order is....... .watch this space!
