NOt posted much over the last few weeks (not that i was a constant poster before) as not done very much OSing but getting back into the swing of things.
Have been playing around with my SC the last few days and have got a few more meal ideas. We spent the week after xmas eating left over ham and turkey but only got one more meal out of that to go.
My plan for this year is to limit the use of my TD however the weather has not been very good for hanging the clothes out. OH has got a weather sensor thing and it shows the outside humidity. It has been between 80-95% the last week. Would that dry my washing outside as long as there was no rain? I have no idea about humidity.February 2013 NSD - 40

You could always do what my lovely neighbours do  and leave it outside overnight as the temperature plumets then it's just frozen - and I kid you not on this one. How long must that take to iron.... and it's not a one-off either. On day I'm going to knock up some fake icicles and hang them from the washing.....:rotfl: But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green and it's not a one-off either. I don't know the technical speak, but I have hung my washing out everyday this week, and its nearly dry when I get in in, it just needs to be hung on the airer overnight, and is then dry in the morning.
Donny, what a shock for you, hope you manage to get it down to a better level soon hugs xx0

Evening everyone. Apologies, I've not had time to go right through the thread but from what I've read:
Cazspatch - sorry to hear you're still poorly - when are you due back at the docs? If not for a few days I really think you should go sooner.
Frugalswan - we're having toad in the hole tonight too! Yum!
Undercover Angel - no, it's not right that you feel like that about your job. Do you have a sympathetic line manager you can talk things over with? It's such an awful time to try to look for something else at the moment isn;t it, but only you know if it's really worth you being quite so miserable to stay put.....good luck with it.
Well first day back at work today after the holiday.....boy oh boy was it hard getting out of bed when the alarm went off! Not too bad a day though - fairly steady and I got out on time. Got home, jumped in the shower and washed my hair, stuck a deep conditioning mask on it and then cleaned bath, basin and loo whilst that was working. Now all showered off and got dinner on. MrEH helped with emptying the dishwasher too bless him. Toad in the hole as mentioned above, spuds are boiling too, and we'll have it with garlicky baked beans as I discovered yesterday I have NO frozen veg in. Not sure how that happened. I'm considering having a go at flylady hence the bathroom cleaning above - thought I'd give it a go without actually joining to see how I do.....
Not much to do tonight thankfully - will probably just browse on here and watch TV. As per New Years resolutions tomorrow night will be TV free night so we might even get some more holes drilled for the spare room shelves! :rotfl:🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Had Lasagne for Lunch, it was going to be sandwiches but I was cold and needed something hot and Chicken Tikka with crusty bread for Dinner it was yummmmm and Chicken Tikka with crusty bread for Dinner it was yummmmm
Have had a quick read through and something that seems to be an issue at the mo is the way some LO's are dressed. I must say I entirely agree with the comments made, little girls should be little girls for as long as poss, they will be grown up soon enough as it is. The way some of them are dressed its a wonder they dont end up with pneumonia, what happened to childhood .
chrisca - I am with you....I'm so glad my DIL dresses our DGD's to reflect their ages.DGD1 had a really bad cold and chest, so DIL bought her a couple of cotton vests, really pretty and only fine knit, with a little pink bow on the front and short sleeves, she wears one all the time now and just loves them.
Thanks mudgekin I would hate it not being able to come in here, I really look forward to the chat with everyone, catching up on the day and hearing what everyone has been up to,
Catzpatch - well done on the non smoking, keep up the good work, :T :T :T
(((hugs))) for all the poorlys/under the weathers/depresseds or anyone in need today x

Undercover Angel - I was exactly like that in my last job. I'd cry as soon as I sat in the car to drive home. Even once when I had had three weeks off, the very first day back I felt as bad as soon as I walked in the place. I cover for staff absences there now and again and the stress is always there. Bad management and not enough of the right equipment to help you do a good job, plus difficult people to deal with, are what is wrong with the place. It's not right to feel like that because it takes over your whole life. My DH begged me to stop because I was becoming a different person. I miss the money but my DH doesn't miss the woman I had become! As EssexHebridean has said, is there someone you could talk to? Good luck - I know how you feel.
My, it's cold tonight. I've just had a hot bath and I'm sat here looking really glamorous in a long dress, my long fleecy dressing gown and long socks. I look like a princess (not!). Off to snuggle down under a blanket and watch Living Without Money.
See you later. Keep warm, everyone.

Rage in Eden they must think it works if they do it all the time. I shall check the humidity tomorrow and hang my washing out and report back.
Redruby i suppose as long as it takes most of the moisture out I should be okay and as you say just pop it on the inside airer over night.February 2013 NSD - 40

            Happy new year everyone!
We returned from our week away with friends in the Lake District yesterday and then today it was back to work with a bump! The children return tomorrow..............
I had to do our supermarket shop today. Not normally a trial, but on our return yesterday we found that our freezer has decided to stop working. We've looked at how much it would cost for someone to come and check it, factoring how much the work would cost and it's cheaper to get a new one. We've looked at how much it would cost for someone to come and check it, factoring how much the work would cost and it's cheaper to get a new one.
Tonight we've had a chicken stir fry, which at least gave us SOME vegetables. Oh, and we've just been invited for a meal to help celebrate my friend's little bro's 18th birthday in a fortnight. Any ideas for a present??
I'll go and read the rest of the thread now.....

Thank you very much to mioliere and EssexHebridean. I spoke to my DP and my Mum over the weekend, Mum said that I should grin and bear it (she is thinking financially.) Dp said, your happiness comes first but he also thinks I should stick it for a month to see if theres any "new year, new start" thing going on. I don't know, I'm a manager at the moment and am wondering if maybe just stepping back down to assistant would be enough to make me happy. Obviously we would loose money but still have enough to pay all the bills and save a little ( i do mean little) amount each month. I'm not sure what to think to be honest, plus there is the thought that DP's new job is only on a long term temporary contract, whatever that means.
Sorry, I'm now thinking aloud. I don't really want to speak to my line manager, she is supportive but is also to some extent...I don't know. I've got some thinking to do, even though its all I've been doing for over a week and still not come to any decision. It comes down to happiness v money...
Sorry everyone! x:love:11th March 2010- Got engaged to my amazing fiance, planning our wedding for 2012 0 0
