I have to say today everyone, I cheated!! No, not with all those chocs - I weighed myself! :naughty: And I'm delighted to say in my first week I have lost 6lbs! :j :T :D

Good luck to all the people starting next week!

    That's fantastic :T :T :T !!!!

I've had a bit of a think and decided to start again (again:rolleyes: ) today. I picked up the book this morning and it fell open at the 'don't beat yourself up' page:eek: So, I'm not going to but I am going back to day 1. In true MSE:money: style I was filling the journal in in pencil so I'll rub it out and fill it in properly in pen this time.
I've got both books here in work and will have a read at lunchtime.

Actually, I cheated this morning and got on the scales..........I had put on a pound:o

Aw, thanks Ice for that postive note for all of us on our individual journeys. and well done on your tremendous weight loss so far, you're an inspiration. I personally am finding this Paul McKenna programme working for me, but its not easy remembering to follow its 'simple' rules! :D

Hi rockie, :wave:sorry to hear about you putting on a pound :shhh: but glad to hear you are back on the right path. I do my journal in pencil too - are we tempting fate? :rotfl:

I've put those Mother's Day choccies on the high shelf in the kitchen, nowhere near the breakfast bar stool! :rotfl:

    Morning :hello:

Yesterday went pretty well, even though I do say so myself ;)
I stuck to the rules - ish! :o I could have drunk more water but it was cold so I had tea instead!

I didn't nibble during the evening, probably because I spent most of it asleep in the chair:rolleyes: so even though I'd photocopied the distraction techniques, I didn't need them......but I'm sure I will before much longer!

QS - I though that it would be mse to fill it in in pencil but thinking about it  pencil (to me anyway) is temporary and I don't want a temporary weightloss this time!!!
The high shelf is a good idea, away from temptation and you need to make an effort to get at them :T

Plenty of exercise today, I went for a swim before work :D

I find I lose more weight if I keep myself busy, I jump on the scales every day, and if I am the same as yesterday or have put a pound on, it just makes me think, I'll try harder, and I do an extra 15 minutes on the sky glider, or half an hour of pilates, with music blaring, so who cares about the noise, your only alive once, so make the most of it, cos when your dead, your bloody dead.

:T Fantastic rockie, great to see you've got yourself back on the right path. I have a problem drinking so much water too.

I've had no internet connection all day! I kept blaming Sky - but now I've just checked our modem and it may have been a loose cable my end, oops! :o Still, I got loads done, including tackling my gigantic ironing mountain! :D Thats a form of exercise isn't it?:D

Ice, you're not meant to weigh yourself very often on this programme but I can see that this method works for you. You are very disciplined! :A I agree though if you are going to exercise, you need to accompany it with some good music -preferably LOUD! :D

    Another good day! :D:D

I can't believe what I did at lunchtime:rotfl: There was a free buffet lunch on offer, I'd taken hummus and dippers so went and took a few crisps, some fruit and a cake.........I ate half the crisps, all the fruit and looked at the cake.........I took a small bite then chucked it in the bin:eek:  I just didn't want it :T :T I even threw the rest of the crisps away, they sat on my desk all afternoon and I didn't eat one so I chucked them as I left:j

No specific exercise today but I have been running around, up and down stairs all day and tomorrow is my dancing day so loads of exercise then

Hop everyone else has had a good day!!

Wahey rockie, well done you! :T I've had a good day too, and even got a bit of cycling in today, despite the weather!

I do find I fall asleep when I listen to the CD late at night though, wonder whether it still 'works..?'

Good luck for another good day for us tomorrow....
