Hi qs yes I think we have chatted on one of [STRIKE]Lou Blues[/STRIKE] the reality show threads:D

Listened to the hypnosis CD last night which I loved, its quite long though so everyday seems a bit OTT.
This morning I got up at 6 for a Davina work out (good god I never thought that combination of words would fall out of my mouth:rotfl: ) then for brekky I had a poached egg on brown bread eaten very very slowly which is hard with a runny egg:D

So far so good watch this space

LouBlue's threads! :naughty: :rotfl: Like it!
Goodness me Nelski! 6am in the morning! Didn't know that time existed! You [STRIKE]will be [/STRIKE]are committed! :D

I quite often share my mealtimes with my kids and they have got used to my nagging, 'Slow Down!' Tonight I even closed my eyes so I could fully appreciate the flavour of my food. It wouldn't be so bad but I can't resist saying 'Mmmmmnn' out loud with every mouthful! :rotfl:

Another tip I learned on this programme was to 'put washing up liquid on left over food so you're not tempted to finish it up.' Haven't needed this one, just yet! ;)

Hope everyone has had a good day and rockie, make sure you stay away from food you don't need at 9pm! ;)

Hi everyone, just wanted to say that when PMK used to be on QVC, he often said it was fine to listen to the CD at night, even if you fell asleep. He said that the messages would still get through to your brain. I don't know how that works but if he said it does, I believe him :)
I keep trying this programme then giving up and dieting. It does work if you work at it.

Well I'm getting better at resigning from the clean plate club!:T
I had a much smaller portion of curry last night than I would normally have AND I left some:eek: I did have a bag of crisps last night but I was tummy hungry rather than head hungry:D

I am finding that my food is going cold though.....perhaps that's why I find it easier to leave some:rotfl:

Tonight I left some of my potatoes and declined plum crumble :D
I haven't weighed myself but I'm sure there's less blubber round my tum!

Not done any exercise today other than a little walk to the shops as I've had a migraine_pale_ ..........usually my meds make me hungry but not so far today......

6am is a good time to exercise, I like to go for an earlybird swim before work some days and am in the pool at 6.30:eek:

    See you tomorrow guys!

Am checking in:j and ready for action!

I got the journal in the post yesterday and am going to start it tomorrow or monday. Have had major stress going on over the past 2 days and constantly crying, ate a whole family size bag of peanut m&m's last night and felt very guilty afterwards.

Havent been too bad today but wolfed down all my dinner and had a tiny second helping:o then had a biscuit, (one biscuit!) and had to leave half of it. So my sweet tooth is losing its battle! Im drinking lots of water and got myself a pair of trainers today so i can start going for long walks.

Dont feel brave enough to weigh myself, so i'll judge by the flab and if i start fitting into old clothes again.

I get exhausted at night and keep forgetting to listen to the cd, its on my mp3 next to my bed so i have little excuse, but i will make the effort asap. Someone give me a virtual kick up the rear please!

I also need to resist dp's urges to fill me full of food, he has late night snacks and i have done really well so far considering that im a comfort eater, im really resisting the urge and looking to other ways for comfort instead of turning to food.:T

Hi All! A late night post tonight, been busy, busy, busy! Actually, being busy is a good way of not thinking about eating! :D

Thanks, HH62, for letting us know that Paul says its OK to listen to the CD at bedtime - in his webchat (see link above) he suggests to listen 'when you come in from work or at bedtime'. I still find daytime is best if I'm going to listen to it all and for doing the visualisation exercises.

Well done Nelski on your progress so far, I agree some foods are difficult to chew the suggested '20 times.' Have you got your journal yet? Had a good weekend?

rockie - you got a week off? It will be interesting to see how you get on with this programme whilst being at home. Will you find it easier or more difficult? Hope you had a good day yesterday.

zztopgirl Here is that virtual 'kick up the rear' you asked for! :D I believe if you do this programme properly, you should find you won't need to comfort eat....hopefully. Well, its working for me...
In fact, I am pleased to report, :j I've lost another 2 pounds! :T (I've been doing this for 2 weeks now, which means that I'm meant to weigh myself today! :D ) That's 8lbs lost altogether now. Wahey!

    And onto the next week....

    Morning all!

I'm back on PMK's way of eating, and i'm loving it! I started again a week ago today, and I have just weighed myself. I've lost 6lbs this week! I can't believe how well it works, even though I have had chocolate, pizza and KFC!

Mmmmm, think I might find it harder being at home, OH brought me a hot cross bun for 'elevenses' this morning:mad: He didn't ask, just assumed I'd want one:mad:

I've not done badly apart from that, I waited until I was hungry for my lunch and I have walked 4 miles today:D I was bored a lot of the day though as I was waiting for the washer repair man to turn up........3 hours late:rolleyes: but I didn't eat, I read cookery books instead:rotfl:

Well done on the 8lbs loss:T :T :T I have to admit a sneaky peek yesterday was 3lbs down :D

We'll be out most of the day tomorrow, off to Lakeland in the morning for some Easiyo, then have a wander round some of the 'posh' shops round there. I'm going to make sure I have a large bottle of water with me and will try to keep OH out of the coffee shop!!

Wow some good loses going on here:j

qwiksave - well done on your 8 lbs thats a really good loss.
Amazon sent me an email to say my journal had been dispatched so I am hoping it will arrive tomorrow.:T

    vicks276 - 6 lb thats fantastic well done you:T

rockie - well done on your 3 lb too. have fun in Lakeland I love that shop.

zztopgirl - I havnt listened to the cd over the weekend (too much wine for any kind of self help:o) but I figure a few times a week is ample - mine is quite long so its a lot of time. I am going for the "just before bed" slot but I dont like how he wakes you up fully and energetically at the end:rotfl:Id quite like to just drift off.

So I had a fairly naughty weekend with regards to alcohol consumption:o but not too bad on food. Kept my eye on sticking to the rules and seemed to work. Yesterday went for a long dog walk with a mate which was gorgeous and I actually got a bit of sun tan:eek:(well wind tan anyway:D) Today I have been out for lunch and had a small steak and few chips which I ate about 3/4s and I have just had a massive salad and took half an hour to eat it so am now quite full.Away this weekend so I need a few really "good" days as I probably will be enjoying a few drinks whilst away and thats hard to do slowly:D

Davina dvd this morning so am feeling fairly virtuous exercise wise.

Hope everyone is having a great week and I will report back when my journal arrives

Well done on the 3lbs loss, great start rockie!

Whats an Easiyo? Do I need one in my life? :D I like Lakeland too, for all those things you didn't know you needed! :D For this 'eating programme' ( I nearly said 'diet' then! ) I recommend one of those plastic bag heat sealers too. I sealed up a packet of crisps earlier :A but its also good fun to play with too!....

Congratulations to vicks too on your 6lbs loss. People can't believe that you can lose weight eating 'what you want' - but you can! :D

Hi again Nelski, looks as if your doing pretty well too. Hope your journal comes today! At least with this type of journal you don't have to write down everything you eat & drink... :D

    Good luck today everyone! ;)
