Well I had a good day yesterday I think, drank plenty of water, did not do much excersise though so I need to improve that. I had a freind round for dinner last night and I usually struggle to stop eating when I am full in those kinds of situations but last night I managed it.
I still don't seem to be able to get over the guilt of leaving food though. I am ok when I can save what I have eaten but if it is something like a sandwhich or some pizza or something that can't be reused I seem to struggle more with leaving it......any advice welcome?

Thank you, so much! I really appreciate it!Well I had a good day yesterday I think, drank plenty of water, did not do much excersise though so I need to improve that. As for your guilt... that is such a hard thing to overcome. I always run into that problem whenever I "count calories." Because I want to KNOW exactly what I've eaten, I feel the need to eat it. Of course, that's simply ridiculous since I'm eating after I'm full. When I do leave food, I am always quick to get up and throw the food in the trash immediately. This has really helped me since I no longer have access to the food. It's done, you know? I'm not sure that will help any with your guilt... but, it will help your waistline and in the end, that might just help win over any feelings of guilt you may have left.
Good luck!

Thanks for that Mich,
I have tried to get into that habit of throwing it away because like you say then it is gone. I think it is just in contrast to the money saving part of me that wants to utilise what I have paid for. There is no point in using my body as a trashcan though is there!!
Thanks again and good luck to you too.

Aww! Loving the way this happy thread is helping each other out!
Welcome to mich and spuddy
I haven't got the code either Mich, my books and video came from a charity shop. You could look for the code in a book in a bookshop but tbh you don't need to join the official club, we've got an unofficial PMK cyber club going right here - very mse! :money:(But if you do go ahead, let us know what it is!

Keep going folks, its worth it! :jI don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
My journal arrived finally:T:T:T
Going to tease myself though and start on Monday as I am away for what I fully admit will be a "naughty" weekend (food wise not in the tradional sense!!) Will see if I can stick to my eating slowly as that does seem to be working ok for me and with a stinking hangover I expect I will have to :rotfl:0 -
Afternoon fellow PMK weight reducers!
I put my detective hat on today and had a sneaky look in Waterstones for the new edition of the book. It has a credit card size card in the back (with the CD) that has the code on it! I looked at another copy and it has the same code so I think I'm right in thinking everybody can use the same one. (?) However, it does say that the code is for free membership for the club for one month. Don't know what you get for that and how much it will cost after the month. I don't think I'm 'allowed' to put the code on here so to be on the safe side I won't but you know where you can get it if you do want it and don't forget to tell us all about it!

ps Nelski, don't go too mad the weekend, you might not want to stop!I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
The box to put the discount promo code is gone.
Wonder what that is all about... and WHY it just happened to disappear today. Oh well. Guess I'm paying full price. And... it better be worth it!
Thanks, by the way, for all the help! We'll see how the program works for me once I get the CDs. :T0 -
You're welcome mich.
(I wonder whether the expiry date for the club code finished on 31st March? )
I had a look at that site today (www.paulmckenna.com), isn't the club part american? I wonder whether the paid for forum will be mostly americans? If they are, I bet you'd get bucketfuls of enthusiasm!
Good to see that on the UK site some of the PMK cd & book sets have been reduced, but ebay would probably still work out cheaper.
Hope everyone is fine & keeping on the programme. Don't forget to keep at it when these forums are closed (waah!!) for the weekend. I've got a girl's curry night out tonight, now that will be a challenge!I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
