I haven't quite got to the point yet where I don't want sweet stuff as a snack, I have a real sweet tooth! Having said that I haven't bought a bar of chocolate in the last four weeks, although I have had biscuits etc! I'm not a healthy eater, as I don't like veg but I will eat fruit so wasn't hungry when I rushed out to work this morning so took a banana with me and ate when I got there. Went out for a meal last night and left some of my main meal ( no starter!) as I knew I wanted pudding so left some room for it! I'm definitely not snacking as much though which was my down fall. First official weigh in on Thursday so here's hoping!0

Hope WI goes well Mint. I have such a sweet tooth too...... and a savoury one as well lol.
I have just ordered the journal of amazon, thought it might help get me on track properly.

Right then, Day 3...Can't believe how I haven't lapsed yet. Still not drinking enough water, but managing to stick to the rules and even went to Pizza Hut and left some pasta when I was full. I listened to the CD an hour ago and feeling quite chilled....
My weigh in day will be next Sunday and looking forward to it as I'm not feeling bloated as usual, think I've been permanently 'stuffed'-just kept topping myself up.
I think the PMK on Living +2 is on tonight as well, I think it's good for motivation
Well, until tomorrow ladies & gents...good luck and power through(I know it's cheesy, but it's a little joke in our house that we tell one another when things get tough..workouts, homework, pain, hardship, credit crunch:D etc)Jo x:A0 -
Still going OK. Not drinking enough water and I don't eat my food slowly enough. Unfortunately if we have tea when the kids are still up it's a rush as one of them is normally demanding attention (one is 3 1/2 the other 10 months) and if we leave it til they go to bed (normally round 8pm) then I am getting too hungry and over eat anyway...... I really could do with eating my meal and closing my eyes as I eat. Sounds daft but it would make me focus on the food and not something else eg. 'puter, kids, TV, book etc.
Still not going to let this put me off. Just need to work round it. keep going everyone.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Wrong time of the month so cravings coming thick and fast today! Haven't had to resort to any of the techniques from the book yet but may have to at this rate.... Having said that I've just realised how little I've actually eaten today...piece of toast for breakfast, braising steak and mash ( school dinner) for lunch which was horrible so hardly ate any of it, followed by a piece of melon and a wagon wheel! And I've just come in and had two of those chocolate snowballs! So I probably am still hungry...0

I did, chicken and potatoes for tea and then I've just had a lovely bowl of Ben and Jerry's ice cream!0

And so to Day 4...
Haven't been too bad today, had a sticky patch this evening - started nibbling while making kids packed lunches-I wasn't hungry but it was there.
Have managed to drink 1 whole litre of squash, did a workout and listened to the CD this morning .I feel that listening to the CD sets me up for the day-motivated and ready for anything:p
I'll finish by writing in my PMK 90 day journal and ticking off the boxes (avid list maker-I like ticking things off)& so to bed, bring on Day 5.....
Luck to all, think thin, think Summer, think skimpy clothesJo x:A0 -
Woohoo! 4 weeks on, with 3 meals out and at least 5 days ( possibly 7, can't remember!) where I got out of the habit because I was away, couldn't listen to the CD and forgot to get back into it when I got home,
I have lost 7 lbs!
It fels so good to know I've done it with no starvation, counting points, calories etc. I've eaten what I want, when I want and it works! I think PK is right when he says you shouldn't weigh yourself too often as it does give you a real boost to know it's a bigger amount than just 1lb or 2! If I'd gone to weightwatchers I probably would have lost about the same, but it woul have cost me about £24, and I would have spent the whole time worrying or feeling guilty!
So off to listen to my CD ( I tend to listen twice a week now) and roll on the next 4 weeks!0 -
