Great to hear Nelski,
How long's that taken you?
and welcome Krafty0 -
Hi all,
We had a few drinks last night, then I decided to listen to the PMK cd in bed.......think it may have relaxed me a bit too much; I woke up at 4.30am with the light still on & me lying on top of the ipod.

Tescos I bought it and read it but not listened to the CD. And not really following it at the moment as I am not in the zone.
The one from Tesco also has the 90 day journal as well. Bargain I though. Better than a bar of chocolate :rotfl:
Think I will re-read the book and listen to the cd tomorrow.

Hello everyone, thought I would update you with my progress so far. Well.... 1 week in and I weighed myself yesterday (DAY 7)and I've lost 6 lbs!!!!
I can't quite believe it and I know it's not always going to be like this but was most impressed. I HAVE been following the rules, doing my workouts and listening to the CD everyday, I think this is why I've had a good start.
Luck to everyone, will update in a few days:wave:Jo x:A0 -
Well done Irchy! I must admit to having had two days off again, daughter's birthday party on Sunday and a day at Cartmel Races yesterday put paid to thinking if I was hungry or not...I just ate! Back on the wagon today though, although I think it's going to be harder during half term.0

Well I completely over ate last night! I have a cold so was going with the old adage of feed a cold, starve a fever
Anyway my H bought me EA Sports Active for the Wii as I don't have time for gym and find exercising a chore anyway. All I can say is I have done the work out twice and boy do I ache! Was using muscles I didn't know I had!! My TV is wall mounted so a hell of a lot easier to follow then Wii Fit (which I really like for the yoga but I can't see the "zone" I need to stay within as the TV is wall mounted). Anyway theres lots of variety and am currently doing the 30 day challenge. It picks the work outs for you so I never know what I am going to get. And you can use the balance board too. Considering this is exercise I am loving it at the mo!I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

I keep thinking about giving PMcK another try....I need to lose 3st, my doctor would probably say 5st.
In fact I'd be happy with 2st off.
I've dabbled with it, never really given it a full committed try, but dieting isn't working for me and it's so good to hear these positive stories.
I've got the book and the 5 cd set and the journal...
One thing I always foudn hard when I tried it though was eating when I was hungry. I was so out of touch with my hunger that I didn't know when I was hungry and I'd wait too long and suddenly realise I was absolutely ravenous.
Anyway, it's nice to read how well you're all doing.0 -
Im still trying too and not craving so much. If I want something I have it but dont obsess so much about it. Chocolate is my main craving.0

Hi everyone, glad to hear you're all making progress. Week 2 and I've lost 1lb, which I'm happy with as it's been half term.
Had a couple of days where I didn't eat consciously(open fridge,eat chocolate,close fridge)but that stops now.
The exercising must be working as I'm firming up the flabby bits and didn't cry when I put on a bikini :DThe weather has been gorgeous,so I've been catching some sun, which always makes me feel better anyhow, I'm going away in July & I want to look FANTASTIC, besides it's the big 40 next year and I don't want to be fat and 40.
BTW the warm weather has meant less cups of tea and more squash-so that's a bonus.Jo x:A0 -
Hi all,
A bit swings and roundabouts here for me. Didn't manage to listen to the CD at all last week with it being half term and had quite a few days where it just wasn't pheasable to eat only when hungry. However I have been on daughter's new Wii fit every day, and have managed to listen to the CD the past two ays so I'm getting back to it. i think it'll be much easier when I'm back at work next week. However today has been a good day and I've even just put some Ben and Jerry's cheesecake brownie ice cream back in the freezer because I was full! i'm off to the shops tomorrow morning so hoping I am hungry just by Starbucks for my fruit bread!!!0
