Thanks for the welcome,
Well i'm a week in an pleased to say 1 3/4lb lighter. Its been fairly hard for me to get back into this week with birthdays and the fact that i keep forgetting to put my knife and fork down and trying to realise when i'm comfortably full and not letting myself get totally ravenous again. I think actually the last ones have been the hardest (still in diet mode) but i'm getting there. I've just found my cd so hopefully that will help me this week.
This weeks plan....
Listen to cd at least twice
Ingrain those 4 golden rules
increase exercise£387.39/£196.46
Pay my debt by End of Feb 2022
49.28% paid!
£199.55/£500 savings by End of April 2022
39.91% saved!
Make £2022 in 2022 - £200 -
Hi again
I've put on 4lbs:o Would love to do the confused emoticon but I know full well what I'm doing. I'm now officially addicted to cupcakes (well the butter icing part anyway)
I'm day 102 (so says my WII) and I had lost just under two stones by merely paying attention to what I was eating. Now I'm nearer the stone and a half.
I've not yet bought the book/cd but I will. Paul McKenna truly works for me and this is not a diet. It's a redirection of thought processes (most of which are destructive). I've quit smoking, I've quit drinking, now I definitely need to beat this over eating (spot the theme of addiction eh:rotfl:)Grocery Challenge M: £450/£425.08 A: £400/£.May -£400/£361 June £380/£230 (pages 18 & 27 explain)0 -
Hello peeps :hello:
very quiet again is everyone at the gym:D:D
Pretty bad BH weekend for me (mostly the wine Im afraid) but back to the regime today and just left half of my dinner partly cos I was full and partly cos I got bored:D
fletch i love cup cakes too! made a batch this weekend just gone but did freeze them so I cant do the whole lot in one go!!
Water intake still very good and I have actually been attending the gym which is truly amazing. I have stopped beating myself up for not listening to the CD as much as I should and will just go with as and when - but I will be sticking to the rules:D
Hope all is well with everyone and that the empty thread is purely down to lots of exercise;)0 -
Hi everyone
Well, day 2 and am back on track (I hope). Managed to lose a couple of the gained pounds and I'm so trying not to get into this losing and gaining the same couple of pounds.
I've still not bought the CD yet. Might go over to Amazon in a minute and look. I also don't drink anywhere near enough water in a day. 3 cups of coffee in the morning and perhaps 1 glass of squash a day is all I manage:o
I need to get the thought process back like I had in Feb and March. I was so militant and evangelical about conscious eating.Grocery Challenge M: £450/£425.08 A: £400/£.May -£400/£361 June £380/£230 (pages 18 & 27 explain)0 -
Hi I'm still here, just not got a lot to post. I was good for a whole week, but then went away with school and it was impossible, there was too much going on, didn't have the CD with me etc. Started again yesterday. Haven't weighed myself as there's no point depressing myself, I'll leave it till I've been good for a while!0

Is anyone else finding that when it comes to being hungry and eating exactly what you want that you end up thinking about it far too much and then end up going past being hungry
I take paul mckenna to bed with me every night lol i dont think ive listened to the whole thing thoughLove is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -
No, I do tend to notice when I'm hungry and do tend to eat then. I know I'm not eating slowly enough though...0

Showing my face in here again, haven't been on for a while.
Welcome to all the new faces that have joined.
I tend to notice when I'm hungry so if circumstances allow, I will eat something there and then. I do however think that if you aren't able to eat when you notice you are hungry the feeling does pass, like phunkles has been finding. Paul McKenna definately suggests eating when you feel hungry - but as we know its not always possible.
mintymoneysaver, the best advice I recommend if you are having difficulty eating slowly is to close your eyes when you eat. I really find that works for me (maybe discreetly if you aren't eating alone!)
Well done boddy on your weightloss and walking more :T
Have you bought the book yet fletch? You might find it cheaper on ebay than Amazon..? The journal is useful too, but not essential.
Nelski, how are you doing? Still exercising lots, putting me to shame? and how about you, rockie? we've missed you and did you ever get your ironing mountain done?
As for me, I've got another chance to have a good positive go at this again because hubby goes back to China on Wednesday!I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
*creeps in the back door*
I've fallen off the wagon big style for the last 10 days or so.......
Strangely enough I could hear the little voices telling me I wasn't hungry, was full enough etc but chose to ignore them  and stuff down cake and bread and butter:o
Hopefully back on track today but I have put back on everything I'd lost:rolleyes:
I've just been to the canteen and bought a fruit salad because I wanted it and I was hungry!!
Hope everyone else is doing ok and yes QS, I did finish the ironing mountain0
