Thanks for the support QS, unfortunately exercise did not go so well last night, I was so tired when I got home i just collapsed on the sofa. I have been very good with food and only eating until I am satisfied however.
Goals for the weekend:
1. listen to CD at least once
2. do at least 30 mins exercise both days
3. when we have takeaway (which we probably will) only eat until I am satisfied.

So I went to the David Lloyd gym today and got 12 days for 20quid:j:j starts Monday so I will certainly be making the most of it:D Hoping for a 2 lb loss to see me under my stone loss the quest is on:D0

Hello all,
I started listening to PMK on Thursday and then decided to see if I could find some fellow MSEers and here you are! I've listened to the CD every day so far, and will be able to do so till Wed but will have to give it a miss Thurs as I am away on a school trip. I've resolved not to weigh myself until the first fortnight is over. I have a LOT of weight to lose, at least three stone and realistically to have a healthy BMI more like five. I am hoping the plan will agree with me as my main problem is just that I eat wheN I am not hungry, I don't actually eat very big meals so I think I will still be able to fit it around family meal times, I just plan on always having a cereal bar in my bag for times of need! i've done WW more times than I care to remember and it has worked but I need to change my habits not go on a diet, so here we go. Will keep checking in to see how we are all getting on. As a start daughter and I went to McDonalds for our tea and I only ordered a regular meal ( I almost always order large!) and I was full before I finished so I stopped. Just goes to show how much we just eat for the sake of it!0 -

I notice people are saying they are choosing healthier meals. Remember PMK does say you don't have to do that - if you feel like fish and chips, say, have it! His rule is 'eat what you want', don't think, 'I can't have that because its too unhealthy.' If you follow his other rule of eating slowly and concientiously you may not end up having very much - and remember you can still lose weight by having so called 'forbidden foods' - I know, because I have.
My new targets for next week will be:
1. Listen to the CD every day in the daytime (can't believe it works when I'm asleep - I'm also worried I'll be strangled by my earplugs in the night! :eek::D)
2. Drink more water and not so much tea!
3. And stop when I'm full - I've not been strict enough about that.

I've been eating healthier meals because I actually WANT to :eek: Amazing!!!
This morning I had egg on toast - 1 egg, 1 slice of granary toast with butter and that was enough, normally I would polish off 2 eggs, 2 slices of thickly buttered white toast and fried mushrooms for Sunday brekkie but this morning I didn't want to :j
QS - the cd must work when you're asleep, I can't remember the last time I heard the end apart from he 'wake up' bit :rotfl:
I must try harder with the water next week, I've managed 1L today but had none at all yesterday (but loads of tea:o) and I must get back to leaving a bit on my plate :eek: (not very OS or MSE!!) I am putting less on the plate to start with though
Off to tackle the ironing mountain now :eek:..............seeing as how no-one else will do it for me :rotfl:0 -
Ive had a reasonable weekend too certainly not low fat diet type food just normal gorgeous some healthy some not foods. Today went for 2 hr walk with my friends and their dog in West Kirby. I think I have caught the sun:eek:
Tomorrow I start my 12 days of David Lloyd which sadly I am looking forward to particularly if its sunny as there is an outdoor pool - Im thinking chic lit, sunglasses and a cocktail.........mmmm in warrington I doubt it:D:D:D maybe just a boxercise class and a sauna

2) 2 litres of water every day
3) CD for 5 days
4) Journal .....................this is the sticking point oddly
5) Daily updates/confessions on here:D

Just got back from my first session at the gym. It was really lovely and to compensate for the lack of sun and therefore the lack of sitting by the outdoor pool - I opted for a steam room and a jacuzzi bubble. Did loads in the gym and catch me Im back this evening for a yoga class:D They are going to be sorry they sold me this pass!!!0
