    3) CD for 5 days Nope:o
    4) Journal .....................Nope:o
    5) [STRIKE]Daily updates/confessions on here[/STRIKE]:D :j:jYeah

Very pleased with my exersise efforts thanks to my gym trial - Im loving trying all the different classes and even the gym bit - how long this will last I dont know:rolleyes:
  • Well, still only 6 days in but I'm not doing too badly. I'Ve listened to my CD every day except one, and I generally have only eaten when I'm hungry. I love the fact that he's not telling me what to eat as I'm not a veg eater. I have just had a lovely small bowl of strawberries though! I am definitely eating more slowly and you really do notice that you don't need as much food when you're doing that. Off on a school trip tomorrow till FRiday so hopefully that will go okay. I haven't even been tempted to jump on the scales yet...

Quiet on here atm - I have lost a pound this week but as I gained a pound the week before then it doesnt really count! I have lost some more inches though with my regular attendance at the gym atm so I guess it balances out. Fancying mash pototo for tea tonight and its now I love doing PMK because thats exactly what I am going to have :)

So todays I have done a gym session and 20 lengths of the pool. I am on about a litre of water today so need to up that a bit before bed. I have restarted my journal today (finally)

Have a great bank holiday weekend everyone:D

    Hello everyone

I've only read page one so far but wanted to post, am so happy to see the thread. I too watched this back in January and I've lost just under 2 stone so far by merely consciously eating. I'm falling off the wagon somewhat now (concentrating on the food is not as easy as it sounds) and I want to give myself a bit of a jolt.

I remember my pivotal moment was when I couldn't finish even a third of my Chinese carry out. It did lunch next day and tea the next night, with still some being thrown out!!

So, am off back up to page 2 so will probably post again aftewards.

    Hi again

I've read through the thread now and am amazed so many of you continue to listen to the CD. I just watched the programme and applied the method. I'm waning a wee bit now though so I think I might go on Amazon and actually purchase the CD.

See, I believe in Paul McKenna, truly believe in him. He helped me quit smoking 2 and a half years ago now (hence the need for the make me thin bit :rotfl:). I was a fully fledged, season, militant smoker. I loved, loved, loved my fags. One day I sent off for the DVD, it came, I listened (twice) and didn't smoke again. Just like that!

So, I might need a bit more than just a memory of a 1 hour show back in January to sustain me. I've lost nigh on 2 stones (added 4 these past 2 weeks though ).

    Hi everyone.
Hope you dont mind if I join you. I have had Paul McKennas books for a few years and tried it once before. In the past year I have put quite a bit of weight on. I do go to SW which I like as it is healthy eating. I thought doing it the way Paul suggests will help as well.

I have a big birthday coming up in July and also retire. So would like a bit of weight off by then. I work shifts which doesnt help.
I have upped my exercise though. Yesterday and today I have walked from where I live to a nearby country park. It takes an hour from here to walk around the lake and back. I plotted it on Google maps and its about 4mile.

Also have the cd on my ipod and have started using that.

A warm welcome to Fletch and boddy. :hello:

You're right, its not as easy as it sounds. I've been doing OK but not strictly following the rules! :naughty: I was better when my husband was away but when he comes back I slip back into my old ways. I thought it might happen and it did. Now if I can just conquer that...

Well done Nelski and Ice on the exercise front, you are doing great. I did cycle yesterday when the weather was good, but its kinda cold today.. ;)

My list this week will be just one: Go back to the plan and ignore husband! :rotfl:
