Sexy - how come you've been thanked in more posts than you've actually written!! xx

Ooh, not sure why! I noticed that on a few of the other flyladies' thanks too, and I can only conclude that posts from before the site changed don't add up properly or something.

I was trying to identify what was STINKING in the house. On closer inspection I discovered that a pack of milk had exploded in the fridge.... So as I was unexpectedly cleaning the fridge ( )

We are leading parallel lives. Two days before Christmas I was noticing an odd smell in the kitchen, chucked out a couple of old spuds, and a soft pear, but smell still there, DH no use at all. I go "is there a funny smell" he goes "yes" and then just ignores it . Anyway on Christmas Day I got something out of the top shelf of the rammed full fride - to find the bottom of it dripping in milk. I had loads of milk lying on its side on the top and one wasnt quite sealed so it had just dripped everywhere. It was all pooled under everything on the top shelf (glass like yours though none broke) and the shelf below, all down the sides and back inside, it was inside my two salad/vegetable trays, and underneath them. It was SOOOOO GROSS. It had started to turn to like soured cream and stank. I found this all after Christmas lunch and couldnt leave it cos it smelled so bad, so I spent an hour cleaningit. Had to wash all the veg, it was swimming in it. Not what I had planned for Christmas Day. So you have my sympathies.

OMG Jill That's exactly the same! It was all over everythingBut the stink from the towel was the worst! Apparently he'd cleaned the pool of milk at the bottom of the fridge with it, and then slung it into the tub we keep for dirty towels.

My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is, to be in bed by 10pm school nights, 11pm Friday night (only Saturdays when I don't have to be up  )

Right, off to wash the dishes, get my stuff out for the morning (which includes laying my make-up out on the diningtable...its a right laugh in this house before school), find my NVQ work to take with me, add my TMA to my pendrive just incase ;) and whatever else I think off... night all

    Mortgage-free Glee!
The worst smell ever in my larder a few months ago - I cleared out the floor, checked behind things..couldn't track it down. Eventually found a packet of dried cod (sold tightly shrink-wrapped) which had somehow become punctured. Was I glad to get that out of the house - even worse than the time I spilt a carton of cream in the carboot around Christmas time...smell still lingering in the summer! Eventually found traces under the carpet, under the housing for the spare tyre!
Anyhow, I like tomorrow's list - most of it done today!

    Think twice before spending anything!
