I was trying to identify what was STINKING in the house. On closer inspection I discovered that a pack of milk had exploded in the fridge.... So as I was unexpectedly cleaning the fridge ( )

We are leading parallel lives. Two days before Christmas I was noticing an odd smell in the kitchen, chucked out a couple of old spuds, and a soft pear, but smell still there, DH no use at all. I go "is there a funny smell" he goes "yes" and then just ignores it . Anyway on Christmas Day I got something out of the top shelf of the rammed full fride - to find the bottom of it dripping in milk. I had loads of milk lying on its side on the top and one wasnt quite sealed so it had just dripped everywhere. It was all pooled under everything on the top shelf (glass like yours though none broke) and the shelf below, all down the sides and back inside, it was inside my two salad/vegetable trays, and underneath them. It was SOOOOO GROSS. It had started to turn to like soured cream and stank. I found thisd all after Christmas lunch and couldnt leave it cos it smelled so bad, so I spent an hour cleaningit. Had to wash all the veg, it was swimming in it. Not what I had planned for Christmas Day. So you have my sympathies.

Well, while watching TV I might start on Tuesdays list
    Tuesday - tinklings
    Level One
Clear and wipe kitchen worksurfaces (oh dear, That'll mean putting away everything on the work surfaces)
Sweep the floor! (I've lost the dustpan and broom -I blame the three year old helper I had last time I had it out)
    Level Two
    Mop the floor
Wipe the table and dining chairs (Brilliant - I did that Xmas day and dismantled the table and put the chairs in the cupboard under the stairs)
Muck out the fridge (Did that a few days ago and haven't bought anything since - YAY)
    Level Three
Empty the under the sink cupboard.. give it a wipe out and put back neatly the things you NEED.. get rid of or rehome the rest! (I thought you were only allowed to do that when the dishwasher leaked and everything got soaked.)
Throw out any chipped mugs.. the porous pottery harbours bacteria.. YUK!!
S&S over all the unit fronts and appliances!
    Extras
    1. Wash the windows and sills
    2. Clean out the microwave
    3. Fill a binbag with rubbish and get rid!
    4. Catch up on important phone calls... if you do it now you have time to chase the follow up calls later in the week!
Seems I have started on my excuse list rather than my cleaning:rotfl:
I refuse to enter a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent:rolleyes:

Thanks toots and mudbath for racing! I knew they were out there somewhere. Gosh I remember when catfood was that cheap! lol and when pigsback used to give out lots of 10point clicks daily! Now it's only a 5point click through weekly!

    Over thanked now sexymouse :)

I'm here sort of. Had an up and down day today, got a tad bit too stressed over only buying one bag of crisps when I'd asked for two. Think I really need to sort it, stressing over crisps isn't good.

Anyway children back at school tomorrow and hopefully I'll feel a bit better and be able to get back into things again.
