  • Evening ladies.

Just a quickie, hello to all, and lovely to see you back Jill, and can i be added to your weight loss club please with a target of 8Ib before returning to work at the end of march, and 1st8Ib before summer. It is what my wii fit is telling me i need to lose to get a BMI of 22, so there i start.

I'm not overly getting there with the flying. I had a great morning, as i managed to send DH off to work with unwanted choccies, and he brought back from his boss in return unwanted wine from a party they had. No such thing in this house, but it will do for CP hols in a couple of weeks. He also took in a birthday pressie for boss's daughter, and a book on fairies some gormless relly bought for DS2 - really, a book for at least a 4yo girl for my 8mo boy. Well it's gone to a suitable girl now.

I got a washload of kids clothes done, peeled spuds and swede for tonights dinner, cooked some lentils to pad out a soup and some mince, with enough leftover for a lentil bake for me and DS2 for lunch tomorrow while DS1 is at nursery. Then did a washload of bibs, and changed the bottom sheet on the cot to a fitted one as it had all ridden loose with ds2 wriggling.

breakie dishes were washed up, kids have eaten well all day, been played with lots, and both been bathed. so all in all, i guess a productive day even if nowhere is particularly cleaner. More than in a pre-xmas day anyway. ;)

Jill loving the ASBO baby description of your DD2. I bet DS2 is like that as he is a monkey now and not yet moving. God help me as DS1 was so good we never moved that much at all.

Johanne positive vibes for your OH

lil-me - belated birthday wishes for your DS1 for yesterday.

Anyway, i have spent too much of tonight on the puter trying to work out the best way of ordering the boys some nappies from boots using codes and offers. Cheaper for pampers than costco ones, which makes me happy. I also got 3 presents for my efforts. Restrained myself as i don't really have the cash to do it, but i need to start somewhere and couldn't pass these up as they were cheap and so good.

Onwards then, bath and a bit of a clean of the bathroom, after sorting baby bottles  My list (responding to what happens and what i see) never ends, so no wonder i never get further on.

Hopefully i'll get in again tomorrow, although i need to watch some stuff off the digi box and pop to the shops while ds1 is at nursery, so we'll see how that goes.

    Michelle, xx
  • Hi, no flying done here today, but
Shopping mission in Truro with DD1 achieved quite well, only one incident in M&S
when she knocked a manaquin over.
DD2 birthday today, 11 going on 21. Decided at last minute to invite friends over for tea, so pasta bake made. Went down very well. When they first got here, as I had only just got home, I got them all to do a 5 min bin bag fling. bet they did'nt see that coming:D
Bags packed for DD1 (she boards mon to fri) hope I've remembered everything:rolleyes:

So when its all writen down, quite a lot done.

SOAPPIE from my time in the services (ex QA) Sir or Ma'am will do for anyone with pips on their shoulders. WOII and above are ma'am or Sir also. - so you did the right thing.

Right must go and put a wash on and tidy up lounge a bit then off to bed.
    Night Night.
The problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:

Made up with what i achieved in the bathroom today. Hasnt had a good scrub in there for a while ..:o I even got the courage to clean the window blind, been putting it off for past 9 months because i was standing in the bath cleaning that when OH come in to tell me FIL had died. I havent been able to bring myself to clean them since... did think about it today but didnt get upset. Just laughed thinking gosh i was 9 months pregnant last time i was stood here in this bath doing this.. how silly was I?!! :o :rotfl:

Loads of AVON work to do tomorrow and i need to get some bits of shopping... so ive done some bits of my tomorrow list too. NOW im off to tidy the living room because OH text me from work before to tell me MIL has said she'll be calling round "at some point either tomorrow or wed"   to drop her friends AVON money in (all £3 of it) She's not the type to call unfortunetly she just turns up.. so must make sure the place is visitable for the next 48 hours... just incase

(Will be leaving the mousetraps in the livingroom though, may discourage her from coming back as she hates mice :rotfl: :rotfl: )

  • Oh, and the give blood thing....

When I had DD3 things went a little pear shaped!!! I lost a lot of blood... nuff said.... anyway, when we'd recovered (DD3 and I ) I went into overdrive getting everyone I knew to give blood. And once I was able give blood myself I did, and DH too.

However, they won't have us now, me because they changed the rules about people who've had transfusions being able to donate. And the OH because he has diabetes now.

So I'd love to donate but I can't now. :(
