Evening everyone. My goodness, I've a lot of catching up to do!

Welcome to yet more newbies :hello: 64 since Christmas . Go on, which one of you split about our elite club? :D Do they realise how much fun they're going to have? :rotfl:

Somnium - DH is getting Company Sergeant Major next month, then going for his commission with Cwmbran ACF.

Michelle - glad your back, hun. Hope you had a great time, in spite of sleep disturbances.

Ragz - very funny about the ferret! :rotfl:And good point about giving BLOOD, but I usually get a reminder twice a year. It's probably dued any day now.

    Mumoffour - lovely photo

Toots - Good luck at hospital, thank you for finding that, and Pigpen - thank you for posting The Daffodil Principle. What a lovely story, and a lesson to us all.

Indigostar - weather's been very cold but the roads here have been clear. I suppose it depends how far in they were going. Oh, and like Flower, I think of myself as a conscientious dog owner, as I always clean up after my 2, and so does DH. If there's one thing worse than cleaning up your dogs' poop, it's cleaning someone else's dog's off your shoes etc! I saw someone during the summer taking her dogs into the secondary school, climbing over the fence and lifting it for them to go under. I shouted to her and told her it was a no-dog zone, and she told me to .... off! She was at least 60! I was furious.

    Dusty - how's Nan?

Pigpen - great news about your little cousin! :T

elliep - of course we're a lovely lot. Pigpen wouldn't let us be any other way! :p

    Sexymouse - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Mudbath - fingers crossed for poor old puss! And hope you haven't overdone things.

ZLS - nice to see you, and glad you're feeling better.

Soappie - DH says "No, you didn't do it wrong!" (17 years with The Household Cavalry, then TA, then ACF! :D)

Johanne - good luck for OH!
Back to work today, and I spent the day at my colleague's house. Next time, I'm telling her to come here. I came home reeking of cigarette smoke . I don't smoke and DH gave up when he had the flu. Oh, and I also smelled of stinky dog. I've 2 dogs, and they don't reek like this one. Poor thing. She spends a huge amount of time out doors, even when it's cold, so I think it's the natural oils in her coat, but it's pongy!

Well, I've finally caught up and hope I haven't missed anything important (someone give me a kick if I have).
    My listy for tomorrow:
    Dailies

    SS Kitchen, Bathroom, Shower room
    Make beds
    DW, WM, TD, BM, CM
    Feed dogs, cats and fish
    Groom dogs and cats

Clear anything from the stairs! Safe stairs are a must
    Level Two
Move clutter so you can vacuum under it
Vacuum and wipe (if needed) sofas
Dust any areas below eye level
    Level Three
Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is!
Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs.
Extra Mission Tasks - as usual try one or more of these
Check where important documents like passports, birth certificates, driving licences, medical cards are and make a note of where they are and if any need replacing, changing etc
Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW

    Extras:
    Pack up more decorations.
    Do search for Car insurance.
    Call vets for Cats boosters.

    CARRYOVERS:
Manic Monday - Kitchen, Utility and Dining Room/Area
    Level One
    Clean floors in these areas
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Clean washer drawer, filters on the dryer, dishwasher and cooker hood filters
Extra tasks - if you want to do more:
Empty one shelf (or the top of a cupboard) clean it, clean what's on it and put it all back
Clean out and organize one cupboard, more if you like

Goodnight all, and God bless. x

AnW'sMum - I am so sad, when I started there, I printed out and studied and learnt a list of which insignia goes with which rank so that I knew I wouldn't name someone a lower rank than they were! Which is how I knew this person was serious top brass (plus his picture hangs on a wall!). I do only use rank when it's people I don't really know (I only usually meet, at the most, the lower and middle echelons). Those I work with a lot, I use their first name. I would never use Mr/Ms/Mrs to someone in uniform where I work.

Don't know the actual etiquette Soappie, but i think either rank or sir would have been fine - I wouldn't worry (unless of course a look of pure shock came over his face when you said it and everyone around you took a deep gasp - then I might worry... :D )

Actually I just looked at the "about this site" bit and it says
Created, and still 100% owned, by Martin Lewis in Feb 03 for just £100, its ethical stance and Consumer Revenge approach have made it the UK's official no. 1 money site with nearly 5 million unique users a month.

:eek: Was I really here at the start of it all? I guess I have "This Morning" to thank for me being here :rotfl::rotfl: If it wasn't for that show I would never have wandered over here that night and stayed ever since..... :rotfl::rotfl:

    Evening ladies.

Just a quickie, hello to all, and lovely to see you back Jill, and can i be added to your weight loss club please with a target of 8Ib before returning to work at the end of march, and 1st8Ib before summer. It is what my wii fit is telling me i need to lose to get a BMI of 22, so there i start.

Jill loving the ASBO baby description of your DD2. I bet DS2 is like that as he is a monkey now and not yet moving. God help me as DS1 was so good we never moved that much at all.
    Hi Michelle
so good to hear your voice (as it were!). Have added you to the weight loss thing, sounds like you must be looking good already, I would be overjoyed to get to a BMI of 25 which you must be at already if you are only 1'8 off BMI 22- well done you! I have Wii Fit too but never use it, dont seem to have time. When do you use yours ?? I do like the hula hoop one though LOL

I reaaaaaaaally hope you dont' end up with an asbo boy, mine is driving me nuts. Aside from the devastation in the house, she has mad fits at the dinner table when she doesnt get exactly what she wants. Tonight she went ballistic in the highchair, like she's having some kind of fit thrashing round like she is epileptic because I offered her yoghurt. I managed to shove as bit in, and she was like "oooooh thats quite nice actually" and ate it. But the hissy fit to get ther, not pleasant.

Anyway time will tell for you!!!
