DD has just had a friend round. Stayed for tea. Gone - no word of thanks! Didn't even say goodbye to me!

That just gets my goat, how rude. I hate bad manners..

Unfortunately DD doesn't have many friends and this girl lives close by so they can walk to school etc.together. She's quite an odd thing and doesn't ever talk to me much. Her family are in some sort of evangelical church (neither parent works, father is carer for disabled son who has a terminal illness and is wheelchair bound) which they are heavily involved in and they are 'different' IYSWIM...so I will persist with her. Her dad chats - mum doesn't:confused:. So I have asked DD if she thanks when she goes there ...
She (the friend) does say thanks now when I give the girls a lift partway to school (because it's on my way - DD and DS walk when I am not at work.) I will regard her as a 'work in progress'.
They gor a Wii for xmas in that family. Between the kids. That was it. Oh DDs friend gor £5 from 1 aunt and £10 from another. Maybe that's why my DD appreciates what she gets, having a friend from a 'poor' family (compared with us...I am just above free schoolmeals income:rotfl: )

    Thats so sad:(

Valli, there is a specific section for mobiles, going to see if I can get a copy onlune of the 3 contracts and see if I can simply hold them to contract rather than issue loads of complaint letters, not scared to I even got Ofcom involved with Orange, just can't be fluffed if I don't need to.
so there is - but it's the same thing - they have failed to repair and you are still entitled to a refund or a replacement. It used to be that once you had accepted a repair you then were told you were no longer entitled to a replacement. But you're right, it's a faff!
I should be working for Trading Standards me - mind you my mate works for them and they have to do some risky stuff...

My best friend is coming tomorrow to take the kids to see their dad in hospital and to let him know that im unwell, then she is going to entertain them for a few hours:)
