Try this - it's one of my favourite creme fraiche savoury recipes and I'll be making it tonight. It's vegetarian too.

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I too bought that creme fraiche!

I have used it instead of sour cream, few blobs on the top of chili nachos

Used it instead of mayo in a chicken salad sanwich :)

Used it with wholegrain mustard stirred in as a sauce last night with some fish & asparagus and hasselback potatoes

Also great in burritos/ fajitas- it is just a thicker sour cream really.

Also it lasts for AGES -useful thing to buy in regualrly, we eat it a lot, and the sainsburys one is one of the best Ive had ( dont bother with the tescos diet version its like water)
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

  • Not very healthy but try frying well seasoned pork chops in butter, and take them out the pan to rest, and to the pan add the creme fraich, then crumble in blue cheese- it is divine.

The alternitive if you dont like blue cheese is a tablespoon of mustard and a dash of port, which I have served at a dinner party and the guests were raving about my OH's ability to cook!

Dead simple but really fabulous tasting if not good for the heart!
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before
