For Sue
'Bless them poor chickens left on the shelf'
I'm vegetarian so I say god bless to all the poor 'goners' in supermarkets (I know.. I'm some sort of strange person) Anyway, on the shelf was a chicken, (not in the fridge as the poor thing should have been~it kills me to say it should be in the fridge:( should be happy in a field) someone had dumped it on a shelf..so I had a rant about it to my son in the shop, who was standing behind me. So there was I 'ranting' about what the chicken had been through to end up in Tesco I turned to my son to rant some more and realised he had walked off and left me and the chicken on our own..It looked like I was a lone 'sad' shopper letting off steam to a dead chicken.. Looking back I should have called the 'Chicken Police' there and then!

Just needed to remind myself, having a funny 5 minsThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.

Hi Penelopedee
Keep going you are doing really well. Shall I send you some of my biscuits?I will share them with you if it keeps you on track. Everyday you don't smoke is another day to feel proud of yourself..does that make sense?

Cheers Az x Would love to share your biscuits.
I've told DH that if I go for a fag now it will cost me £100,000 as that's how much I would spend if I carried on smoking. (Actually I have no ideal how much it is) but its my new excuse from now on.
Told him I want some Jimmy choos rather than blow that much on fags - to be fair he's gone a bit pale! This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
I shall send you some chocolate ones. I'm going to get rid of all those extra debts/bills. When I add up what I would spend on ciggies I could have easily paid them all off. They are not huge but big enough to have the odd worry about. My son has just discovered Voi clothes~£60 for a pair of jeans.. I tried to convince him I could get primark for £10 and paint the Voi design on them..it didn't work on him.

We are always skint but its not my debt, so any money I save is going on me
Currently I holding out for some highlights this month (my life is sooo exciting).

Hello people.

Good luck to everyone, whatever stage you're at :beer:A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Started 15/03/2011.

Hi princess*daisy, first and foremost, a very warm welcome to the thread.
You say you feel like crying...give way to it and do so! It's an emotion and you should act on it. Also, if ever you feel like screaming with the frustration..get yourself a pillow, clasp it to your face and SCREAM!!! Help yourself to feel better, give vent to the feelings, but also - remember why you're feeling as you do! Once that PMT is over you'll be feeling so much better AND will have got through the testing time. Just DON'T GIVE IN TO IT!!!
All very best wishes, Sue x
Thanks for the chicken tale, Az, I see what you mean now. BTW, I'd sooner have a wave any day than one of those "hugs"!!! :eek:penelopedee wrote: »Ok I am doing this because I can't stand the taste of them, they absolutely stink, they cost me a fortune, I don't want to kill myself and I am not having the nicotine monster rule my lfe. All the vey best everyone - and jinty, it's too risky a pass time to NOT want rid of it from your life. Stay stong and renew your resolve every day as YOU CAN GET THROUGH THIS!!!
Hi DD!! Lovely to see you back, I hope Christmas went fairly well for you, I couldn't help but think of you.
Congratulationson 22 weeks!!!! :T:T:T
Another day to face folks, but treat it the same as yesterday and YOU WILL get through it.The deep breaths if taken slowly and deeply can work very effectively. Also, do something you really do like doing.
