Just a blip janiebaby - at least you've still got the want to give up, that's really good.
Have now passed the 2 week mark, and that feels like quite a hurdle! Am chuffed that have got this far. Brilliant support from on here ! Thanks guys x0 -
Janie having a slip for a couple is nothing if your intending to perservere I think. think the key is if you to slip fo a couple is to make sure you do not get into the two turning into ten, into twenty etc.
I had a dream on Saturday night that I smoked twenty, woke up not knowing what the hell was going on.
Sue, thanks for all the support. Not been quite as needy for one today, fairly certain it's just with other things getting on top of me I'm just looking for the crutch of a smoke, will perservere and hope everything else improves too on a personal level.
To all the rest of you, you are all a big help even when not commenting as seeing other people going through the same does help.
Good luck today folks! We shall not be defeated!Smoke free since November 2009.

What a real shame janiebaby, treat it as a blip - so long as you DON'T have any more! However, you can't really blame hubby for you having had yours, now can you! Whatever he might do in future, show him how very tough you are and that you WILL not waver! I reckon you can do it from here on. BTW. A good idea in going to the cessation clinic, did you ask about your painkillers v paches? Check out the tables you're on as some tablets, regardless of when taken, can still clash with other medication. Ring your Pharmacist and ask before you keep on with them.
Congratulations ceebs!!! :T A fortnight is great going, keep it up and always stay strong!
You're welcome chev!
Keep it up all!!!
Sue

Janie it must be really tough trying to stop when you live with another smoker. Well done, just keep perservering.
Also you Tigereyes. I think there are many who have done as you have. It is a blip. Just remind yourself that the time IS right for you now.........leaving it till tomorrow just makes you waste more of your life.
It is great to see all you newbies and not so newbies carrying on and helping each other. In fact I am getting a bit confused there are so many new posters.
Glad you are getting on with the Champix StClair and no side effects too...........!;)Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

as you say larmy16 great to see all the support going on , on this thread as a newbie encouraging for me to see even newer newbies on here , we all have so many different experiences of why we started , why we wish to stop and how we plan on going about stopping AND staying off them so great forum to post and share our journeys .
I went to see a friend a none smoker who i hadnt seen since Xmas hadnt told her I had stopped as i hadnt thought about smoking at all while at her house I usually pop outside for a draw after coffee so she comented onmy lack of "Fresh air break " . Nice to tell her my news ..
Keep up the stirling work everyone and for those wobbling off the track just climb back on aboard , You know you can do it . Be strong x x0 -

You are doing so well! Even if you have a bad day, take it on the chin, or go and punch a pillow or something. I cried a lot in the early days but then I am an advocate of a darned good cry........you feel all refreshed and ready to start again.
Keep going.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01
