last night after 2 months of not smoking I had 4 fags...
Went out with oh and came back quite early as the meal we had was a bit disappointing. Our babysitter smokes and we all get on pretty well. We offered her a glass of wine and sat out in the garden to keep her company - anyway several glasses of wine and offers to just help ourselves if we fancied it and we both caved in.
I feel very hungover and smelly and disgusting. I don't feel like a fag which is good (but then it is 7am).
I really hope that this is just a blip and we can carry on as normal as I still want to be a non smoker!!
We were discussing last night how we had been craving quite a lot this week and I'm cross that we gave in to it as I'm sure if we hadn't smoked we would have felt a lot better in a week or two. Now we are almost back to square one :mad:0 -
same here, ihavent smoked for six weeks and ended up buyin a pack of fags last night, im so annoyed, plus have been up since 5 am coughing away so guess i deserve that. anyway back on track, it was only a slight blip and im going to look at holidays for next year so i can work out how much my not smoking is going to let me have a fab holiday for the kidsnow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0

poor traz39, can i suggest apples or carrots to munch and a long drink of water if you can stomach it? I've actually lost weight since b4 i stopped smoking and since i stopped smoking. A grand total of 19.5kg or 3stone and 1 pound. However, i too today have had the munchies, and have eaten a bang load of crisps and popcorn, so no doubt I will have put on weight this week too. Have dropped 2 dress sizes though :j4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

have u had to diet well done thats weight loss is great0

Nah, started out as stress related and i lost a lot of weight, seen the weight come off and decided i liked the new me better, so am watching more what i eat, apart from the occasional binge like today
So just eating healthier and when i get the smoking munchies, having some fruit instead of crisps or chocolate. Can't believe we had no chocolate in the house over Easter. My daughter left home just b4 xmas and my lad is lactose intolerant, so wanted new football boots instead of a plain chocolate egg. So that was easier than having a load of chocolate about the house, hehe. They said at the smoking cessation clinic that the average person who stops smoking puts on about half a stone which can be fought off with half hour of walking a day. So..if you are a lazy bum like me, swimming, hot baths or showers, lots of fruit and water, u can do it!!!! BTW are u using NRT or cold turkey or... ?

At 7 weeks you have beaten the biggest part of the addiction, rest must be boredom or something like that. Do you do any sports or anything like that, or could you go out and have a walk when you feel the need? Although not to local shop to buy some
Maybe just think of something else to do other than eat? Not that i'm an expert or anything but it seems to work for me
Oh u posted as i was posting, i know the feeling about nothing fitting you, dropping 2 dress sizes, I have the saggiest a$$ you have ever seen in all the jeans that used to be tight on me. Went shopping yesterday and was thrilled to squeeze into a size 14 jeans(although i couldn't move in them), I was a size 20 - 22 originally, so treated myself to a pair of size 16s. I will deserve another treat when i lose more weight
