My skin is all better now, it was quite a shock to get the break outs at my age lol. It looks less "grey" now too.
I've been on the wii fit tonight and done half an hour, managed the run without having to collapse on the sofa after!! Also, biggest suprise of all is that I haven't put on a pound, (I last weighed myself on it about 2 months ago)... I can't believe it!!
I've also realised I haven't taken a champix for 3 days (oops!), so I am not going to bother with them anymore...cold turkey here I come ;)

Welcome Bangerchick, 11 days smober is a great achievement :T
I loved my little inhalator too, it's nice to have something to hold and fiddle with.

    1 month 2 days 15 hours
    672 cigs not smoked
    £159.29 saved
(how do you get the info properly from silk quit onto here?)
Well I can't stand by the side
And watch this life pass me by

AAARGH woke up this morning looking like a teenager, got about 6 spots all under the skin ready to play peekaboo. You know those tiny sore ones that don't want to become a real spot so u can squeeze them. Dunno if that's to do with not smoking or because i ate some junk food last week or because of the amount of fruit i'm eating.

Well time for this teenager to get to work..... spots and all

My skin hasn't been great either but the cough has finally gone!

I don't think I have put on any weight, clothes feel the same anyway. I'm heading off for the gym tonight, to my shame I haven't been near the place in over a year, it's a good job it's a cheap one. Smoking made me lazy. Well, amongst other things.

I am also going to cook a big pot of cauliflower and spinach curry (cheating using Lloyd Grossman dupiaza sauce but only because it's a bargain £1 per jar in Asda at the moment). Then I shall be eating that pretty much every night.

I go on hols in 9 weeks time. Woohoo.

Ah spots.... my skin cleared up loads when I first quit (I'd always had teenaged girl's skin even though I'm well into my twenties ) but it seems to have gone back the way it was now. It might be to do with all the rubbish I'm eating though, so I'm making a big effort to get loads of water down my neck and stop eating the stuff that's bad for me. Trouble is, everything tastes so good now!

I was thinking about my bit of weight gain last night, and although I feel a bit wobbly and uncomfortable, the way I'm thinking about it is if I can give up smoking (the most difficult thing I've ever had to do!) I'm sure I can shed a few pounds when I'm feeling a bit stronger! So I suppose it's not the end of the world really :D

Hope everyone's having a happy Tuesday

Ooh I had the Jalfrezi one the other night, I chucked in some extra onions and peppers and it was gorgeous. I've bought a couple more while they are so cheap :)

maybe it's all the toxins still going out that's causing it tho. Or maybe all the junk food we've ate since stopping. Well, can't be that with me as I have been eating healthier, although last week i had a lot of junk food and didn't lose any weight this week at all :( still, can't have it all can i. Back to the fruit bowl for my munchies.

They are great aren't they? I've tried most of them. If you read the ingredients there is no crap in them at all, colourings or additives I mean, and I think sugar and salt content is neglible, so it's a good choice if you are going to use a jar.

When i make from scratch I can't resist bunging in coconut cream which is yummy but makes it so much more fattening! I found the jalfrezi quite hot, did you?

Anyway, back to topic. I think the skin stuff might be toxin related - after all you may get a break out if you've had a facial or sauna so no reason why you it might be a similar effect.

Well I just hope it's not curry that gives me bad skin. No way I'm giving that up :rotfl:

All this talk of jalfrezi is making me hungry!

I'm making a Nigella curry tonight, a red thai seafood and squash curry. A whole tin of coconut milk goes in but it is gorgeous. (That's on top of the biccies I have just been baking that I had to try to make sure they were ok lol!)
I love Nigella recipes but they are so naughty!!

Back on topic lol... food doesn't taste any different to me now so although my sense of smell was borked I think my tastebuds survived being a smoker.
