I don't get any headaches with kudzu either

I did read that it makes you feel the effects of alcohol quicker and on less, but they don't know yet how that happens!!

    Afternoon all!!

    Sounds like a few had...ahem..good weekends!?;)

Re the Kudzu - I was contemplating going and getting some but wondered if I might as well hang a big neon sign above my head saying "DRINKER DRINKER!!!" when I wander up to the till!:rotfl:

Piglet being awful today - really testing my patience. Roll on work-time!:rotfl:Will try and resist the urge to stop off at the shop on the way home.

  • Unwittingly had an alcohol free weekend as my OH took the bottle of Vodka out of the shopping trolley at the weekend...did not even notice until about 8pm when I wanted a drink. Beat that:p
LBM was in Jan 2009. Although unsecured debt went UP to £30,954 (my wedding) but have currently got it down to £3100ish but able to pay off when I get my bonus April 2012...Mortgage £[strike]155000[/strike] £134000ish house value approx £200,000

Jo - Hayfever - not medical advice at all just a bit of interest in the hay fever and honey debate - xx

Local honey - works like a charm - you take a teaspoon or so a day - gets your tolerance up to local pollen - shop bought non local stuff might just kinda 'touch it' but real local honey is the best.

Having looked under a microscope at honey - (was amazing and yeah I am that sad) its absolutely stapped full of pollen.

And you can even identify where the honey came from, when you see the pollen. Ie austrialian honey lots of eucalyptus pollen in it, Heather honey has to have over 40% heather pollen in it - and so on.

Thats why they reckon it works if you take local honey - helps your system build up to the local pollen around you. Beter for you than all those nasty anti-histamines (SP)

Started OH on it ages ago and it seemed to help him. And again - yes I am this sad and yup I have looked at honey (and identified it 15 different types) down a microscope. Its awesome!!

    Just a thought hunny - :D

On the radio today (Radio scotland) they also had an article about it - whilst the lady said there was no scientific evidence for it ........

I am a scientist and I have evidence (dodgy eh??)
