    Home again

Avoided alcohol on the plane - well done me - had a couple drinks on Saturday - but only a couple and lots of food so I am on 19 AFD's when scores are updated!!

Grr to noisy neighbours and well done those giving up, cutting down and generally managing to avoid the stuff.....(its everywhere)

Well done you!!! I find planes awful places...I get that "holiday" feeling which means I launch myself into alcohol like theres no tomorrow!

Lots of food is fine...esp if party food. I hope there was cheese & pineapple!!!!

Thats it.....make me jealous. I too had pizza last night but cooked at gas mark 5 and slightly burnt at the edges. All round a good evening lol!!!

  • As I am not a fan of italian food - the kids eat SOOOOOOOOO much of it - I rolled my eyes when I heard it was an italian - but to be fair it was like the proper food we had in italy when we went on hols - so it was lovely and authentic - one of much chums is italian - so when he picks the restaurant - you know it will be good.

I am utterely useless at making pizza at home - burn everything - not any good at any kind of instant food!!! I think the lack of involvement in it makes me just forget about it. Kids never let me cook anything instant anymore.

  • Evening all!
Off to bed early tonight - been planting veg all day and I am cream-crackered.
Am pleased to report an AF day for me please. Took Kudzu at midday as that [STRIKE]is[/STRIKE] used to be (:D) my starting time at the weekend. Even sitting in the garden this evening admiring my handiwork  and enjoying the last of the sunshine (forecast is for rain and cold for the next few days:mad:) didn't entice me to drink. I even have half a bottle of Chardonnay, open, still sitting in the fridge from Friday!
    Sleep well

  • As an aside how many of you cutting down lot have lost any weight - somehow I imagined that my extra weight might decline a bit with a good few non drinking days - but thus far - no luck.

PS ignore all the posts about italian food above - lol - I normally eat like a pig anyway.

  • Ok I have talked to my stomach - and given it a good telling off. I hopefor better progress this week re wieght loss.

Eating less I guess might help - but I do love food

Am miserable that I am home (odd I know) but haven't thought of even having a glass - so hopefullly thats a good sign.

DD tells me she has an itchy head (sleepover yesterday) oh well - off for a head search. Great stuff.
