    ......sidles in.....

gosh it's taken ages to read all the posts. Well done everyone esp. Jo I was whizzing through the posts & didn't realise I was holding my breath to see how it turned out!

Sadly I've not JUST been crap I've been crappier than the crappiest person ever at being AF & not only that but no restraint either but (& I know it's early in the day to be saying this) I think I've finally just got bored with it. I've been tied in this loop of every day being "the last time I'm going to do this" (& so overdo it, cos it's the last time..etc) then at some point the following morning (even as soon as I wake up ) I justify why today should be the last day so let's get another 2 bottles & tomorrow will be af & so on & so on. Boring!!! But this morning I woke up & just thought....not today thanks. I usually know by this time if I'm going to do it or not, & I am! (still have to add a feeble little "I hope").

Took the boat out yesterday for the first time this year & it was fabulous, & I remembered how there's often a crowd of people watching boats go through the locks & I don't want to look like a heffalump jumping on & off the boat!! So in strict diet mode now.

Piglet LOVED his swimming. And so did I. Am going to apply for A Concession card as this gets you money off swimming etc. Yesterday cost me £8.80 for me and Piglet which I think is extortionate!!.

Miss P that IS extortionate - quite outrageous, especially when we are all being encourage to increase the amount of exercise we do.
Do you have to pay for the little one?

it costs £4 here for an adult and children up to 6 are free and we're in the most expensive country in Europe!

Well done 115k - hope you feel really good today.

oh how this brings back memories! the fact that it was the "last time" used to bring on an Oliver Reid type attempt to "go for it" - whatever that was!

...then next morning you'd wake up, carry on like nothing had happened and think for a while it was a daft thing to do and then you'd recover throughout the day and be ready to go again....

    madness!
For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 2007

You are not alone WB, just been talking to a friend about this at lunchtime, sick and tired of feeling sick and tired is what he said and it's true, I feel like this too. I feel I'm getting quite a way down the road to quitting now, no longer an amatuer and now armed with advice and support to help me get over the final hurdle......(also with a feeble little "I hope" :o)

One hour at a time xx

It costs £5.50 for me and £3.30 for little one as he is over 3. I think its disgusting. So will definately be applying for the concession card. Will cost £18 for me and Piglet but will save us about £3.50 each time we go swimming so will be worth it. Can also be used at other leisure facilities.
