    Please dont cry Jo.
You can do this...you have done it before for weeks at a time.
Good on you for joining the school PFA.That means you cant really have a drink now as it would be smelt on your breath later and also I presume you have to drive there.
Make yourself busy...do some ironing, clean some windows...KEEP OUT OF THE KITCHEN if thats where you have got it stashed away.
Good luck, Stay strong and remember......

Molly's watching and she's got the whip out;)

Thanks Molly, I wouldn't drink before I went anyway, not only would they be able to tell but I feel safe once I know I'm not going anywhere. I hate this :(

Sorry to be miserable, you are all doing so well :)

Jo, I'm finding it harder the last few days too. I swear it is the weather. I have just got in and it is so lovely outside and normally I would pour myself a large glass of something very cold and potter in the garden come 6pm. Bliss! But I mustn't.......not until the weekend anyway but that isn't making it any easier right now  Aaaaarrrggghhhh

    hello everyone!
i was not af yesterday after having 5 great af days on a run, i was given a bottle of my favourite cider and the money saver in me thought 'i'm not wasting it' i sat down last night and had two large galsses and was enjoying them, but stopped and thought what was i doing after being so good! i threw the rest down the drain, before i could drink it, so i was very pleased with myself for doing that.
also i bought online and it came today Alan Carr's book on Easy ways to control alcohol, so i am going to sit down with a large glass of diet ginger beer and start reading the book.
    good luck to everyone jo-jo

Jo, I hope it's getting a bit better now and the bells are beginning to fade.

i agree that the nice weather makes it more difficult - very srong associations of warm evenings and cold wine.
Having a funny old day today - don't really feel quite 'right' IYSWIM. i think I need an early night.

(not yet though, that would be a little extreme)

Another one for me please Happyshopper.
Feel dreadful, have picked up some horrible sickness bug and can only just manage a cup of tea.
Have finished all house and kids jobs and will be off to bed shortly to feel sorry for myself _pale_
Really dont want to miss The Apprentice though as result is always in paper next day!
