  • Morning all

    10 for me please HS

Another gorgeous day here today - and yes I am one of the ones that have this as a major trigger but its weakening after a few AF tanning sessions:D

I have been drinking around 2 litres of water a day for about a year now and I can vouch for the improvement in general health and my skin is much better than it was although I think that is also linked to 4 months of cutting down alcohol. The need to go to the loo all the time really does go although for me I need to slow my consumption down before bed or it has me up in the night which is not good. I also quite often add a bit of sugar free squash to my bottles to give a bit of taste

Great to read so many success stories on the thread this week, it all bodes very well for Budgies May. :D

Hope you can get to enjoy the sun (sorry Fay hope its got to you now)

We had our one day of lovely sunshine yesterday - I hear we have one scheduled for next month or in June.

Jealous - me no..................................its raining but not windy - so thats something:cool:

My office window looks over fields and our college glass refectory looks over a wonderful beautiful unspoilt bay with little ships in the background.

The fact that we can't see any of it from the lashing rain is neither here nor there - its out there somewhere!

    Jealous - me - oh no :o

    :hello:Hi Everyone

Thanks for good wishes. Feeling a little bit better today at last! I do so hate being ill. I've just been crawling on here to try to keep up but didn't even manage that yesterday. Did manage to be AF, so not totally out of things!

    5AF please HS.

Well still AF, I think thats just over 2.5 weeks now, any desire for drinking also appears to have gone:j

Great stuff - when you can do a couple of weeks, it all seems more manageable, and your life seems to go more smoothly.

However, alcohol gets to you when you are vulnerable, and also when you are complacent. You get the F**K It moments when thinga re bad, and the One won't hurt - I have this under control when things are going well.

As other have said - constant vigilance is necessary.

Read back through all the posts when people have a few days under their belts, and things are going well. Usually through complacency, all the good work is scuppered for a glass of wine.

My first day in the new job was fandabbydozy - I really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly, the kids extremely well-behaved and well-mannered and my little Food Technology room is looking rather brill, if I say so myself.

You definately aren't working in my school then!! What is it you're doing there LD? Glad you're enjoying it :D

Things are going crap for me, just can't do it :(

Budge, can't wait to hear what you have in store for us in May??!

Almost drunk my 1.5lt water already today, been to the loo 3 times, usually don't even go once  :o

    xx
