Hi all
Another AFD for me HS ( now 11 in total) That's day 1 of my 100 day challenge under my belt ( only 99 to Go!)
I am feeling slightly better today . I think drinking over the weekend has disturbed my sleep ( I tend to wake up at 3 am and then cannot get back to sleep !!) . So yesterday morning I was exhausted and the first day back at school -( getting three small boys out the door ) is mighty stressful.
I did not find it difficult being AF last night as don't usually drink on Monday's but watching "Ashes to Ashes " last night " Alex" had a glass of wine with her dinner and i thought " I want that". Still I survived and I will again tonight !
Better rush - should be in the shower:eek:. The 3 little monster men will be up soon causing mayhem :rotfl:
Have a lovely day everyone

be VERY careful. in some ways this is prime time for an attack of "oh, it's OK, just the one won't hurt..."
well done, getting over 3 days to a week was always the hardest for me. once you get over the very short time you just kind of get used to it and it becomes more a part of who you are.
take care everyone! For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -
Hi all
HS thats me at 15 now - half a month woo hoo (not all in a row) - hope everyone is good today.
Birthday next week - wonder if I can do that AF ? Will be a meal out with kids etc - so realistically it should be easy to not have wine - right? No one else will be drinking so why should I?
Take care chaps - the evil voice is still telling me its a fad and I can't do it.
The other voice keeps chuggling down water and tea and telling it to shut up or it will be locked in the coal shed.
Hi Bis and 40 Sm - Nirelandguy - well done and as bis would say 'constant vigilence' xxTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Everyone is doing so well on here.:A
7th day AF for me today.
Dare I say it, the kudzu seems to be working, I haven't had any alcohol pangs. Last night seemed very relaxed and I wasn't noticing the time dragging like usual when I'm not drinking. Thank you to the people that suggested it.:T
I know what people mean when they see someone on TV having a glass of wine or a beer, I always think I really could have a drink now, but with me it is never just one drink!
Hope you all have a good day.HOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

Morning all
Hope everyone is ok and has a good day today. The sun is shining which is great - going to be the best day of the year so far, but as others have said, that relates to a nice cold drink in the garden at the end of the dayToday could be a challenge for me and some of you I think, but............we can do it

May have something to do with the XL Double bacon cheeseburger meal with fat coke I had for tea
Just cant seem to lose any weight dont know why
Thanks YM You made me laugh with that one. Of course the secret is to have diet coke with the XL Double bacon cheeseburger meal, then you really lose weight quickly!!
So, yesterday was AF so that's me up to 40% of my target for April (Thankfully I picked a lower target this month) 4/10 for me please Happy!0 -
This thread moves soooooooo fast!
another AFD for me yesterday, and i went to the pub for lunch, i just had a lime and soda cause i was driving.
But i've been given a bottle of wine (belated birthday present) so its one i like. i think i can resist till weekend. I'm already planning on keeping myself really busy and if the bottle lasts all weekend i'll be happy with myself. I can go days without alcohol, my biggy is bingeing when i do drink and then making a prat of myself
I've got loads of work to do today, so i'm going to get going and achieve everything, or at least wash up!
have a good day everyone
nirelandguy well done esp for the wedding0
