Have decided to see what happens with the advice from the counsellor.
Bought a Mild instead of Stella tonight - only had a can and a half - 2.1 Units .
On top of a 12lb plate of Shepherds Pie & Brocolli - I'm stuffed !:p
(Only a very slight exageration - I think Mrs BHB is trying to get me to catch up to her weight :rotfl:.......... Oh hell - I'm in trouble again :eek:)

Well - day 1 of reduction went OK - so not AF day - but not far short ........ comparatively speaking.

Jo - things will f eel better in the morning ....... but the work will still be manic

Felt v.tempted tonight to open a bottle of wine - didn't open one and temptation has passed now. Only when I say I'm not doing it does the temptation grow, at times even tho' I don't want to have a drink.

Fedupandskint, its funny isn't it when you are drinking at night, alcohol doesn't cross your mind all day, and then as soon as you decide not to drink you can't think about anything else!!

Me been desperado lunatic lady kids away for two weeks 16 days actually - so - know its no help but you have managed (lots of you) to be sober over one of the hardest times of the year - I gave in and just rotted in my misery and blotted it out. Having felt stupid and remorseful, not giving self hard time rather just amazed at how quickly I end up back where I was. But done day one, so the rest hopefully will plod along behind me. You guys have given me the courage to go and do it before so I am clinging on at the mo.

You should be so proud of yourself all those AF days already. Was oddly up at 2 am yesterday not sleeping til 5am first AF day this year.

Have managed to return from tutorial and not open the usual bottle of wine for a glass (or two) made a cup of tea instead as soon as I came in. Heading to bed now as feeling rotten not sure if its the two days without alcohol or frist day back at work after nearly three weeks off.

Any way I can now show 3/6 so off to update my sig and go to bed, night all will catch up in the morning.

Well my leaving purse at home worked so another AF day for me :j new total 5/6 please Lurky.

Jo Big ((hugs)) hun, you are doing so well. You do what ever you need to get you through this, hope work improves for you as Im sure it doesn't help matters.

fayjmck Keep strong, just think if you can do it in times of stress, you'll fly when the kids are back, and they'll be so proud of you

On the veggie theme, I haven't eaten meat for at least 20yrs!! Love cooking and have stacks of recepies if you need ideas.

Congratulations to everyone (so many of us :A ) who has had another AF day, BHB good luck with you reduction programme aswell.
