Hi Guys,
Hope everyone is feeling ok?
Miamoo thatnkyou, but I still didn't sleep so well last night alas I have never been a good sleeper.
To Grey P I have not eaten meat now for 4 years, I did used to be a big meat eater. Turnaround came when I read about the trauma the animal felt at point of slaughter and that you were eating this traumatised flesh. (Karma and all that). Wouldn't dream of eating it now, pop onto: Money saving old style they have loads of veggie recipies on there. Believe me you can soon make a nutritious meal quite cheaply, slow cookers are useful too, they also have a thread on that too. Asda do a good vegeterian range which I find I like.

Another day at work another sober evening. It's breaking that habit of buying a bottle of wine on the way home isn't it.....good plan mari!
Started my weight loss challenge today and was thinking of ways to reward myself...instantly thought...bottle of wine! Then thought what a ridiculous way to reward yourself for weight loss with a bottle containg 600 plus calories. Still have't thought of an alternative but it won't be wine!
Sig updated....Keep it up everyone.LBM 10/08 £12510.74/0 -
Im on 6/6 too! Polaroid the cd is called "Change your life in 7 days" its really good, I've just noticed he does a sleep one, so I might get it to try. If you google paul mckenna his site comes up, they are all on there.
Paybacktime what about spoiling yourself, hairdo, nails, facial, massage or what I fancy, having one of those weight loss body wraps (you know the cling film and mud) Ive always fancied losing weight while doing nothing!£100 - £10,0000 -

Polaroid, we taped the Gazza thing, it looks really sad.
Sorry to all that I've not really been around the last couple of days...been having a hard time with this quit and I know that I should be on here telling everyone my woes but you know when you just want to shy away and not think about it. I've been reading but not been much up for conversation.
Today I feel a little better, although quite 'lonely' and am hoping that the sun will start shining soon. Feel a bit run down but I think that's the toxins leaving my body, got a cold sore come up this arvo so I'll also look carp by the end of the week!
Not sleeping at all, work is manic, I feel disorganised and a bit lost, keep forgetting things.
Apart from that, all is well :rotfl:
Don't wanna bring the thread down, I'm okay really, just trying to adapt to being sober again...
Well done to everyone, we are all doing amazingly well, thanks to Lurky for chairing this committee
