morning all af last night so 6 for me ..i think?

had a right result last night told dh insurance was due and he gave me £260 cheque to shove in bank ..im going to pay it monthly and its only £220 but come to £250 if i pay monthly so im £10 better off but £260 off my debt if that makes sense i know i still have to pay £20 a month but its bought my debt free day down by 5 months not sure how that worked out but did it via snowball caluclator so must be true
yippie plus i got £110 payout from quidco which is paying for me and mum to have tea at the ritz she was 50 last year and i was very very heavily pregnant she allways wanted to go and i couldnt take her nor could i afford it so thats my very belated 50th and (i was 30 last year too) not my cup of tea pardon the pun but i know it will make her year and its a secret ..now i have to find away of getting her on the train ..ummm answers on a postcard

she works for a fabby boss who gets free tickets for the ballet and opera and free train fare too so only costs us a drink each and we take turns so costs us £5 (damn those london prices) for a night out at the ballet
sometimes things in life can be just fab

hope you all have a fabby day too and a great weekend ..dh is traeting me to a resturant dinner tommorrow and mum has the kids ..kids free weekend yippie

i've booked next friday off work. i've not had my hair cut since Jan and i need to start feeling and looking good. i'm 25...and women who i work with are older and trendier than me!! time for a change!!!
    dotty x

hi dotsar, hope you feel better when you have had your hair done, i havn't had mine cut since end of jan, somehow when i am busy drinking every day, my hair is the last thing i think about, and wouldn't dream of spending £20.00 on having it done, but would gladly spend that amount and more on alcohol and not think twice about the money wasted!
i am 46 this year, but feel 66 most of the time, i feel like life is passing on without me being part of it.
i had my FIRST alcohol free day yesterday for ages and ages and actually went to bed, without feeling like carp and slept all night, which must be a first for me, and woke up this morning without a head ache or stomach ache and feel quite perky, today and tonight will be harder for me, even though my son has come home for the weekend and i will try and not drink, while he is home, he is off out for the whole night to a party and won't be back untill early hours and the thought's are there - should i have something to drink, as soon as he has gone or can i try and not drink and make it 2 alcohol free days on the run!
thanks fluffybishop for telling us all about the herb supplement, i am off to the shops as soon as i can get and will give it a try, cannot do any harm.
everyone take care and have a good day, jo-jo

Now into the 12th continuous AF Day :j:j and am feeling much much better :D , though I did have a bit of a craving last night. However, I soon sorted that out! We got a soda stream from freecycle and have been making fizzy water mixed with high juice orange squash --- seemed to do the trick :T. It took 2 pints though

Hope everyone is OK this morning - haven't read through. At first glance it did look busy on here last night ?

    Best Wishes

Do you take it daily or just when the cravings are likely to attack?

If daily, how many and when?
    x

To be honest lillibet, the instructions on the H&B one aren't that clear and I have Googled it to try to get some idea bur couldn't find any either
The H&B one says take 2 a day which I do, and I take them every day whether I am drinking or not. When I drink [weekends] it helps me drink less than I was before and I can even 'forget' I have poured myself another glass of wine :D:rolleyes:
I only ever drink in the evenings after about 6pm, so my danger period and wine bell ringing time starts around 5.30. I take 2 tablets at between 5 - 5.30 every day and it has made cutting down so very much easier whereas last year I would be climbing the walls and be really irritable just trying to have 1 AFD

I would prefer it if you Googled it and read up on it yourself though rather than take my word for it, as it helped me also to read up about it a lot first. That way, i went into it with knowledge of the product and also with the right mind set which I believe has a lot to do with it. I told myself they were going to work from day 1 and they did :j but I also feel they are cumulative and work better the longer you take them since after 1 week on them it got even easier.

Jo -jo, no it can't do any harm and they have no known side effects, but again, Google them and read up about them too as I think this helps a lot when you know more about them :D

when I gave up smoking I promised my self I could drink as much as I liked as long as I didn't smoke....

Same here...& what a mistake that's turned out to be. I haven't quoted the rest of your post Bis but I read it carefully...

    Morning all!

DD1's birthday today, 17 years ago at this very time I was under the knife and out of it

Feeling proud of the AFD but as I have no caffine in the house I'm exhausted.

Well done for all the AFD's, that total must be rattling up quite nicely :)
