    4AF, please HS.

Relatively easy tonight as I'm still feeling yuk with the cold I caught on here!! Hope I'm feeling better tomorrow as I'm going out to dinner and at the moment can't taste a thing.

I'm off to join fluffy for the weekend. Good to see new posters, please join in and set a target. You'll enjoy the feel good factor when you achieve AF days. People on here are really great!!:A

I'm not doing well. am on 4th (and last) can of the night. sorry. i'm finding it really hard going, esp with giving up caffiene aswell. the worst is between 1pm & 2.30pm, thats when i'd be cracking open the diet coke (and by god is that stuff addictive...aspartemine!). instead i have this awful lull. and no caffiene buzz. i didnt buy any drink tonight, but when my OH came home i sent him out for a 4 pack of carlsberg. not good. I bought caffiene free green tea and lemon for tonight..had one cup and....its not the same. i know i have to do this and get my life back in control, for my ticker to be healthy. it's been lovely this week....no hangovers, even after 4 beers (i must be used to it).

i've booked next friday off work. i've not had my hair cut since Jan and i need to start feeling and looking good. i'm 25...and women who i work with are older and trendier than me!! time for a change!!!

    sorry to waffle.

Hi JWBF :D It is called Kudzu and is available either online or from Holland and Barratt :D You can Google it and read more about it and its trials etc but basicaly it is a plant derivative with no known side efects that has been used by the Chinese for 1000s of years to control alcohol addiction. I found it online when I was Googling for ideas to help control the cravings every evening and I think a few of us here are now taking it. It definitely 100% works for me as last year I was climbing the walls when I had an AFD and last month I had more AFD's than the whole of last year without the terrible cravings attached. I don't care whether it is psychological or physiological, all I know is, it works for me and is making my AFD's really tolerable and painless :j:D It also helps me drink less on the nights I do drink :D

Lillibet - well done, keep those drums rolling now you have managed your first night. It is such a huge achievement and I hope you are feeling really pleased with yourself. Very well done :T

Maman, plenty of room on the naughty bench for both of us and any other cutter downers too :D

Dotty, don't despair. Baby steps - you will get there in the end, you are half way there by being on this thread xx

    Morning All

I am afraid I have not been good this week . I drank wine on Wed & thursday this week:naughty::naughty::naughty: . So no more points so far.

I am not going to be to harsh on myself as I am very stressed at work at the moment, I will get back on track.

    Love to you all

Do you take it daily or just when the cravings are likely to attack?

If daily, how many and when?
