Five out of five for me-have been given date of 16th January for my planned section as they tried to turn my breech baby yesterday (ouch!) but it wasn't having any of it! I am going to have a glass of wine on Saturday though because it is my birthday. I feel a bit of a cheat this month as I will be pregant or in hospital for the majority of the month but think that I need to be vigilant that I don't slip back into my old ways to 'relieve stress' when the baby is born. Also me and DH have made a bet that first one to lose a stone after the baby is born has to give the other one £50. Unfortunately this doens't include my prebirth weight as having a baby is the quickest way of weight loss!

    Greetings :hello:

4/5 for me so far. If I can get all the way to Saturday ( Which I will :D ) it will be the longest stretch I have been without Alcohol since I was about 18. Hope my Liver starts to recover as well as my weight going down. Dropped 2 lbs according to Mr Wii Fit and have just done 2981 steps on the free steps aerobics section. Had 2 tins of baked beans in my hands as well and kept going for 30 minutes. Might upgrade to tins of beans and sausages soon :D

Having no beer also means I do not keep falling asleep at 8pm on the sofa. Managed to stay up until 11pm last night and watched a documentary on Pink Floyd last night on BBC4. Bit worried about my yearning for 70's bands at the moment. As long as Brotherhood of Man dont pop up I should be OK.

Going to watch the 2nd part of the Linda La Plant thing that was on ITV last night and sip a Vimto ;)

Take care and Eselt come on let us know how you are

  • Well done YM thats a fantastic achievement and 2lb off too.

Sounds like everyone had a successful day 5

I on the other hand had an alcohol full day instead:o :o Didn't sleep very well last night, kept waking up and beating myself up for not being AF:confused: maybe my unconscious mind is on side at last.

Not sure about today I think I am out again this evening which will probably mean a drink but I will be taking it very easy if I do.

Have a great day all and good luck

Beckseven my DS was breech and I had a planned section, it was fine in fact I chose to have my dd by section when I had her 3 years later.
YM Im the same, we watched a film last night (it was rubbish) but I stayed awake to watch it, I would normally leave him downstairs and go to bed.
My sleep seems to be sorting itself out I slept like a log last night, that was the thing I was most worried about, but after the first few nights I've been fine.
Budgetbabe did you sleep any better last night?

Don't beat yourself up too much if you mess up a day. Focus on the days where you HAVE been AF. Everyday without alcohol is a bonus which you need to be proud of, so give yourself a pat on the back for the days when you been alcohol free. Go on - pat away.;)
