Good luck lilibet :D and well done on cutting down tonight :T

I think not having drink in the house is what most people probably do tbh - except for me, I am the opposite :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I must be weird as I want a drink more if I can't have one  , but on this challenge I have had plenty of bottles of wine in the house throughout it and have told myself if I want a drink I can have one because it is there and available, but I still have kept to my target [well, exceeded it :D ] I wonder if I am the only one to do it that way? :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyway, 1st April tomorrow and it is hubbys birthday - my daughter will be here and my 2 sons and their g/f's are coming round too. The pressure will be on to open a bottle

    Good luck everyone :D

Well done to everyone who exceeded !!!! And those who haven't well done too - I will post at some point with individual encouragement. At the end of the day just making a commitment on here means you've gone a LONG way to sorting things - basically meaning you know it can cause problems and u r trying to sort.

AA is a great institution if it works for u. My problem with AA is they say the problem is you and not the booze. How can that be when all my problems come from drinking - my problems don't come from not drinking!! If it works for you fine - it will never work for me as there are too many holes in the logic. Don't even get me started on the cod psychology and letting my supposed recovery be put in the hands of someone who is nowhere near qualified to comment on my own situation. I realise this post will get the back up of a few people - what can I say -its what I believe!!

I can understand what you are saying and I dont think AA would work for me either but I do believe that the problem is the person not the bottle. In a similar vein (sorry for the pun.....:o) I dont take drugs so therefore drugs are not a problem for me but if I did would it be me that was the problem for taking them or the drug? For me it would be my problem.
Lots of people drink alcohol in a sensible way and lots of people dont. Its not the bottle its the persons choice imo. You have done so well so you obviously are taking full responsibility:T

Thanks for an excellent job in February mate and as is the tradition I would like to offer you one of these on your imminent retirement

    Hi everyone, :hello:

Sorry its late tonight but late home from the gym.

Firstly I just want to say: A BIG BIG BROTHER THANKYOU TO THE WONDERFUL NTC. you have done a fantastic job with the scoring in March Big Sister, you have given us all a laugh and kept up everyones spirits as well. I for one am very grateful to you and I therefore would like to present to you this:

    Second Hand Clock :rotfl:

Yes I know, but I am not as snazzy as you with this computer jiggory. So at such short notice its the best I can do. Hey I looked at Dear Lurky's present but that was a gents watch, so I figured this was more appropriate?

I hope you don't mind but the battery is going as well ......

I know my dear you just can't get the quality of housemates any more. :rotfl:

Now talking of quality you are top class, a true diamond and a wonderful person. So thankyou Sweetheart from me and everyone on here.

I shall miss the BB house but not the toilet roll rationing. :rotfl:

With all my love and respect.
    Budgie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

P.s off to read the posts now but wanted to thankyou first. xxxxxxxxxxx

I could give a speech..................but I wont:lipsrseal:silenced::shhh: well not till the public vote is in and counted anyway:D

Hope you are well hun did your baby get back ok?

    Hi Sweetheart,

Yes my baby did get back to London safely thankyou, and yes he is my baby at 23 ;) Not that he likes to admit it though, when I email him or send anything through the post I always put: ftowlum?

(Translation is: from the one who loves you most) Because of course I do. :D

Seriously though I think a speech is in order, after all your hard work it would be nice to have a parting comment or two, or however many you feel appropriate? :D

Oh and I would also like to say thankyou to HP for scoring April and yes I will go for 30days please, I was considering less but wrestling with what to do? So I figure the decision is made and I will try my best to do my target again?

Btw is anyone else having trouble with the thanks button? I can't seem to get it working properly?

Jo I am so pleased that you were af last night, :T I hope that April goes well for you sweetheart and look at the positives from March you have had 22 af days and that is something that you should be proud of. So well done sweetheart and please take care. xxxxxxxx
Ps I think you can still see The Secret Millionaire if you go to the C4 website. xxx

Ms London so sorry to hear that things have not been good for you, but so glad you are back. Keep posting and please take care, well done on deciding to some volunteer work as well. Love and hugs xxxxxx

Welcome to all the new posters glad to have you on board for April wishing you all good luck. Hugs xxxxx

Winebox hugs and good luck for April, lots of love and hugs. xxxxx

Sorry I would like to post more but will have to catch up properly tomorrow as I have an early start and still need to have a shower.

So take care everyone and well done on your achievements in March, good luck for April and all of you please take care.

Lots of love and God Bless
